This is the first song I've posted on the forum since I installed BIAB 2017 a couple of weeks ago.
It's a song I wrote for a special occasion. ie. My mother-In-Law's 78th birthday, which was just over a year ago.
Last year I posted a version in which I played all of the instruments.
This year I posted a remixed version and only the vocals have survived. Everything else is provided by BIAB.

I used the E12STFF.STY Country Pop w/12 String & Resonator style with the following instruments:

520:Bass,Electric,Pop Halfnotes Ev165
619:Guitar,Resonator,Background Cowboy Ev165
RealDrums=NashvilleOutlaw^05-a:Kick,HiHat,b:Snare,Ride
524:Guitar,Acoustic,Strumming Ev165
1031:Guitar,12-String Electric,Fingerpicking Ev165

I also used a Harmonica from a different style. I think it was from: POPHFST.STY
687:HArmonica,Background Pop Ev165

I saved each instrument as a WAV file and imported them into the existing Audacity project for editing and mixing.
I'm quite impressed with the result in comparison to the previous version.

Fun song. Using Margrit and targit really pull the song together well.

"I saved each instrument as a WAV file and imported them into the existing Audacity project for editing and mixing.

That is impressive you achieved such a tight mix using Audacity. It's a great program and I use it quite a bit myself but it is not the easiest program to mix with. I enjoyed your mix and the song.

Andy,

I thought both versions were well done. Kinda cool to have a personalized birthday song... how many people can say that?

Great fun - love the lyrics( and yelps!).
Nicely sung and produced as well.

A totally agree.

You have a really good voice. I'll bet she really enjoyed this and the original version.

I went line dancing last night. Well it was a roadside sobriety test, same thing.

Hey Andy -- great tune! Really fun lyrics and a great idea for a birthday present. Love the Margrit/target line and melody in the chorus. Good job, and looking forward to hearing more from you!

HI Andy,

My wife and I both being 70 years old, we can fondly look back at 62!

This was a real fun listen. You caught the essence of original country. The harmonica is a real nice touch. We loved it! Great song and delivery ... DID i SAY WE LOVED IT!
