You are at work wishing that you were in the great outdoors.

Just a little quick and dirty song I put together.

BiaB style = Visions1-Dreamy New Age
The piano was changed to an EP
The bass was changed to cellos
The guitar was changed to vibes
The strings were changed to a choir
The drums were deleted

I am playing the flute and vocal via my Akai USB wind controller.

Day Dreaming with video

Day Dreaming

Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up.
Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.

HI Mario,

What a beautiful and relaxing piece. The video perfectly captured the mood. Dreamy, to say the least. We're still dreaming - eyes closed and smiling. Terrific work! Wishing you the very best,

Alan & Di

Mario, this is lovely. Perfect for our overcast drizzly weather right now. The vocal and flute sounds really great -- how do you like that Akai controller?

Mario,

Gorgeous melody on this one. I could listen to stuff like this all day.

This is a real winner.

You should do an entire album just like this. Extremely relaxing.

Sweetly relaxing. The backgrounds choir is perfect. Nice images too.
As David said this "Meditation" style could be winner on CD.

You are at work wishing that you were in the great outdoors. That image totally works for me! I am a daydreamer, at work and elsewhere. This is very sweet!! Love the flute part-very ethereal. A daydreamer's paradise!! Take care. Greg

Nice relaxing piece, Mario. Like Bob said, it could be in a movie soundtrack (like so many of yours that I have heard).

Really enjoyed this one.

Alan & Di, Bob, Scott C, David, Robertkc, Greg, RnAM, Steve, Janic & Bud and 44kfl thanx for listening and the very nice comments. I greatly appreciate them.

Will B thanx for listening. I really like the AKAI USB wind controller. If anyone wants to add some realism to horns, woodwinds and any other monophonic instrument then either a wind controller or a breath controller is mandatory IMHO.

Hi Mario,

I enjoyed the calm, restful journey that you just took me on. Words and phrases that sprang to mind as I listened included: restful, soothing, laid back, charming, pleasant, wistful, pastoral, tranquil...

All the best,
Noel

Mario

I really enjoyed that, it was completely moving.

How can you move someone with just an instrumental.

Ahhh yes the shadows of course.

Was this all midi and I googled the wind instrument ,.

I'm amazed Seriously.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
