A beautiful ballad, Robert. The melody kept me guessing (where it would go next) throughout. Melancholy.
The piano/cello/Janice combination - well, that's about as good as it gets... a gorgeous vocal.
fj Floyd, Thank you, I couldn`t agree more about all the praise for Janice`s singing! Robert WOW!
Janice's vocal is top shelf. The lyrics are super. I liked the way the cello came in as well as the piano.
You two should be very proud of this one. That`s very kind, Mario! Robert

What an absolutely beautiful song! I love the write, and the simple arrangement allows all the feelings and emotions to ring out in this intimately personal song. Of course, Janice is a great choice for the vocals. As usual, you nailed it, Janice.
Loved this one!

Very nice indeed! The Instrumentation was perfect for this. And Janice has such great tone and phrasing, always a pleasure to hear her sing. Simply sublime guys. A very moving listen.
John Thanks y'all. I was very touched when Robert asked me to sing a composition that was so personal to him. I'm glad you liked it! Janice

Robert, Nicely written and arranged. The harp and cello work well. Beautifully sung by Janice. That one part of the melody where it goes low seems difficult to sing but she made it sound easy. It adds to the song by making it unique. Great job by all. Tom Tom, I was a fairly new writer when this song began and remember getting help from my guitar teacher to make that low part fit with the chords I had. I also really like the way Janice phrased those parts here. Many thanks for your listen and comments. Robert Robert and Janice,
Perfect! The melody, piano solo and strings, Janice's vocal, and everything. I enjoyed all.
Hiroshi Thank you, that`s very kind Hiroshi. Robert

Robert & Janice
Got a nice tingle down the spine listening to that one. Very nicely written - enjoyed the lyrics and tune and a superb interpretation and performance by Janice. Really well done to all (and I know what a pleasure it is working with Bud on the production side).
Peter Peter, That`s a really cool endorsement; I`m glad you felt our collaboration hit the mark! Robert Robert / Janice / Bud,
Outstanding all around... Another killer vocal by Janice. Great song as well.
Bob Bob, Your listen and commentsare much appreciated! Robert

Whow!!! This is gorgeous, I detect some Jody Mitchell influences here. What a cool composition, and I am pretty sure that this is Janice's best vocal performance so far.
Rob Rob, Thank you! This song is probably a a departure from J&B`s Americana material - I`m biased,of course, but I also think it brought out the best in her voice. Take care, Torrey Torrey, I`m glad you enjoyed this song.It was harder than I`d thought to find the right piano track, and Bud`s tweaking really helped it sit nicely behind Janice`s vocal.
