Efter at have opgraderet til BiaB version 2017 på min mac har jeg et problem med nogle akkorder.
Jeg kan ikk få afspillet akkorderne + eller aug. F.eks. bliver G+ afspillet som et rent G
Er der nogen som kan give en forklaring på det?

Det ser ud til at du har delvis ret og at der er en fejl i programmet. Jeg har prøvet alle skrivemåder for #5 akkorder og pianoet spiller ren kvint, men bassen spiller fint #5 og b5, - det lyder ikke alt for godt. Jeg har kontaktet PgMusic.
Som en hjælp til, hvordan man kan indskrive akkorder, har jeg nedenfor bragt en liste over mulige akkorder samt deres skrivemåde.

Noter:
Det er ligegyldigt, om du skriver med små eller store bogstaver – det finder programmet selv ud af.
Enhver akkord kan indføres med en anden bastone end grundtonen (“Slash akkord”) f. eks: C7/E = C7 med E i bassen.
Adskil akkorder med komma, hvis du vil indføre 2 akkorder i en celle med to taktslag f. eks: Dm7,G7
Drilagtige akkorder:
- C5b betyder “C med formindsket kvint”. Staves på denne måde for at undgå forvirring.
- C2 C5 C4 C69 C7alt Cm7#5
- Du kan taste C-7 for Cm7 (dvs. minus tegn) eller C7-9 for C7b9.
Akkord genvejstaster:
Hvis du indtaster mange sange, vil du sætte pris på disse genveje.
J = Maj7
H = m7b5 (H står for halvformindsket)
D = dim
S = 7sus
Eksempel: For at taste CMaj7 skal man bare taste CJ (indføres som CMaj7)
Tilføj dine egne akkordgenveje.
Har du fundet en akkord som Band-in-a-Box ikke genkender? I så fald kan du tilføje den til shortcuts filen. Derefter kan du for fremtiden taste denne akkord i Band-in-a-Box. Du kan også definere akkordgenveje; forkortelser med et bogstav til længere akkordnavne (“J” for “Maj7”, etc.).
I tekstfilen \bb\shortcut.txt kan du tilføje nye akkordgenveje. Bemærk at denne fil ikke leveres med Band-in-a-Box (da den ville overskrive din fil!). Filen c:\bb\pgshortc.txt bør kun bruges af PG Music til genveje som PG Music definerer. Du kan tilføje dine egne genveje i en tekstfil, som du selv laver, kaldet c:\bb\shortcut.txt.
Hvis du finder en akkord som Band-in-a-Box ikke accepterer som f. eks Csus2, (programmet forventer C2), kan du
skrive således på en enkelt linje (uden citationstegn): “Csus2@C2”. Band-in-a-Box vil da indføre akkorden C2,
Kapitel 15: Referencer 541 hvis du taster Csus 2. I tekstfilen kan du også definere genveje. Hvis du f. eks taster j@maj7, kan du for fremtiden
taste Cj i stedet for CMaj7. Filen c:\bb\pgshortc.txt giver flere eksempler på genveje.

Jeg har dykket dybere ned i problemet og du kan løse problemet ved at slå "Naturligt arrangement" fra (højreklik i Akkordskemat og vælg Sangindstillinger - Naturligt arrangement. Deaktiver for denne sang.). Der er stadig et problem, når man har Naturligt arrangement slået til. I mol kadencer fungerer det fint, hvorimod det ikke lader til at kvinten i dominatakkorden bliver altereret, når man blander dur og mol kadencer. F.eks. cm-Dm5b5-G7#5-Cmaj7.
I dette tilfælde, vil den (ofte) spille med en ren kvint. Jeg ved godt det lyder lidt langhåret, men der skal bruges ret avanceret musikteori for at et program som BIAB kan spille som det gør.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
