I'm going down where no ones knows my name.
I'm going down there is no one else to blame.

Dont wait for me, so sorry I treated you wrong.

I really liked this, Rob! I love that raw outlaw country vibe smile Not to mention that guitar groove is simply infectious! I loved when those strings came in around the 1:20 mark too, I wasn't expecting that.

Thanks for sharing! You should be proud of this smile

Rob,

I enjoyed hint of menace in the feel of this - such a great dramatic style for the song. I was surprised when the strings came in, but liked the cinematic vibe they bring.
Really good resonant vocals.

Cool song Rob!
Like the resonators, they work out fine here.
Good lyrics and vocals.

Really interesting song!! It has a bluesy feel with a country and a 60's influence. Love the resonator but I would put some verb on it. Excellent listen!! Take care. Greg

Hello Rob,

Love this! It's mournful but not a pitty-party. Strong in every respect. Maybe a little verb on the resonator? Cool song in a great genre. Lots to like here!

Rob, we always look forward to your posts. We are fans of "genre jumping" and your posts are like the proverbial box of chocolates -- you never know what your gonna get. grin

For this song you set up a great "band" to support both the write and your vocal...and speaking of the vocal that is a fine performance. And the "you connect some of the dots" lyric is very cool.

Well done!

Hi Rob.
With the strings I felt there was something lacking and they seemed to do the trick.
Thanks for your comments.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
