I wanted to try a Bakersfield style country tune. It's hard to keep to a style and not be derivative. Here's the info and lyrics. Howdy,
I lived in Bakersfield for almost 7 years in the 90s. You're pretty close on the Bakersfield sound ... a little twangy guitar (Don Rich style) would put this over the top. But that pedal steel sounds mighty fine! The fx on your voice works fine. The lyric fits the theme perfectly.Nice work!

Good work on this, zydecoal  I found the groove on this tune absolutely infectious, and the lyrics are really interesting as well. They definitely paint a picture of sorts. It's got spunk to it, and it's got a professional sounding arrangement too. Nothing I'd change! Thanks so much for sharing

This is fantastic. You really captured the Bakersfield sound IMHO. Add a little Don Rich guitar would put it the Buck territory. Nice vocal and lyrics.

Hey, there, "zydecoal"... Nuthin' like a bouncin' boogie groove to get folks out on the dance floor! Your rhymes are inspired. The Real Tracks make the room shake with the rockin' of the rhythm and the boom of the bass. Your lyrics warn us "the party's got to end", and that we "got to go", but your music clearly says otherwise! Make up your mind!  Everyone's gonna thank you, "zydecoal", for "Thank You, Everyone"!
