I had a little fun with this one. I still could not put away my overdrive pedals after my last song with Robert. The song title comes from an inside joke with an old friend that I played in a band with when we were teenagers. If we heard a really wild band like Led Zepplin or Hendrix he would say wasn't that Fluffy. So this one is for Jim. It is a basic three chord song style that we used quite repeatedly in the late 60's. Fluffy Title: Fluffy File:Fluffy.SGU Key=E , Tempo 75, Length (m:s)=4:03 No intro. 72 bar chorus, from bar 1 to bar 72. . Song is saved with Volume, Pan, Reverb, Chorus, Bank0, Style is _THRAAMP.STY (Amplitube Metal Chug w/ Organ) RealTracks in style: 1009:Bass, Electric, HardRockThrash Ev 085 RealTracks in style: ~~688:Organ, B3, Background Pop Ev 065 RealTracks in style: 639:Guitar, Electric, Rhythm HardRockThrash Ev 085 RealTracks in style: 642:Guitar, Electric, Rhythm HardRockThrashHollow Ev 085 RealDrums in style: RockThrashHalfTimeEv16^1-a:Snare, Bell Ride , b:Snare, Crash Ride Gibson Les Paul Custom: Rhythm Gibson Les Paul Custom: Harmonics Gibson Les Paul Custom: Slide Gibson Les Paul R9: Lead Amp Vox AC15 Pedals MAXOD808, Texas Bones OD Boss CS-2 Compression FlashbackX4 Delay

Scott, Oh yeah... let that freak flag fly I say! Nice psychedelic layers in the guitars here- particularly at the beginning and end. The atmosphere is from the era I very much enjoy as you know and though the equipment you are using now must be different from teenage band years ( what was the name??), the chops are still there. May I use your word... COOL!

Robert Thanks Robert. In the late 60's in Manitoba there was a band that took the country by storm. They were called the Guess Who. Did very well on the International market. There was an amp builder called Gar Gilles. He build amps for the Guess Who called Garnet Amps. He build amps modeled after the Marshall. Very big amps and very loud. Every garage band in Manitoba had Garnet Amps. Going into Winnipeg to get "your amp" was a right of passage for any young rocker.

I (Bud - not the younger wife) was 22 in 1968 and had spent my college years working with bands...managing and even a little studio work. All meaning IMO YOU NAILED IT! I would term this "literate psychedelia" if I might coin a phrase. Meaning that it appeals to more folks than just the "twirlers" as Gregg Allman called them Us forum members are all the better for you "having a little fun." Really good work. Bud

Wow, what a tune! Those guitars are fantastic. The mixing job on this is superb. It has a certain feeling of "epicness" to it, if you will. Again - I can't stress how well done the guitarwork here is! Thanks so much for sharing, Scott
Cheers, Deryk

fj Thanks so much Floyd for checking out the song. Also thanks for the comments on mixing. You gave me so very good tips when I first started on the forum and have been working very hard on that part of the song production. It is appreciated.

Hey Scott,
Really cool! Sent me back to about 1968, or thereabouts. Iron Butterfly meets Zeplin??? Your fun carried over to us. Enjoyed your guitar work tremendously. Reverb and chorus ... yeah! Very creative and interesting. Thanks for the "trip"!
