You could make BBox sound this good even as far back as 2009!

I am thoroughly blown away by this guy, using what today we would surely call quite limited sounds and choices, but man does he make the most of what's there: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8VxCPlfV1lAJust goes to show that it's not the tools but what you do with them

I've since discovered he's got more and even better ones - that samba he does with his sister (and BBox!) is just pure ear candy!

Excellent. Beautiful player. Must get the midi guitar out! I wonder if he's still using BIAB and upgraded to 2017.
