What a fantastic tribute! It's so fun and fantastical. It kind of reminds me of the kind of musicians you'd find playing around and near a fancy french bakery, which is a good thing!

Love it. Thanks for sharing!

Dear "chris37"...

Your musical presence on the User's Forum is invigorating and inspirational, sir. Through your choice of styles and Real Tracks in Band-In-A-Box, I believe that you reveal your musical soul in a distinctive, even unique way.

"Inspired by Django" sounds as though it was performed in a "live" venue where the musicians were feeding off of the audience's excitement with their playing.

May Mr. Reinhardt's musical spirit continue to guide you!

Most sincerely,

LOREN

Thanks Loren,
Music is effectively the best way I've found to express my feelings.
Band-in-a-Box is a nice tool to help for this.
For this song, I've created the melody and the harmonic progression.
I've choosed the notes for the guitar and the fiddle solos. It has taken time to get the final result !
I hope Django would like this piece. Christian

Thanks for the time trip back to the Hot Club.

We enjoyed this very well arranged and produced song. It sounds wonderful on our monitors.

Hi Chris,

I'm a BIG fan of Django and Stephane. You've created a very good representation of what it would have been like to hear him in person at a small club. Excellent!

Great work here Chris! I really like the playful and cinematic sound this one has. Not to mention, that's truly some stellar playing going on. The production sounds top notch as well.

A wonderful tribute, definitely - thanks for sharing smile

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
