Incredibly impressive.

(I'd probably get rid of the intro clicks.. smile )

Thanks Peter! I am one of the early Beatle fans. I remember walking with my 16 year old cousin, holding her hand (I was about 8) and listening to I wanna hold your hand on a transistor radio. THose were the days! Take care. Greg

I guess that would be say 1965 based on our age bracket! Hope you enjoyed your milestone this year.

Hello, Greg

Really good melody with the characteristic chord progression!
Also very nice and pleasant vocal.
As Peter said, you really have channeled the Beatles here.
And as Rob said, what a great vocal range you show us here.
Enjoyed my listen a lot.

Best regards.

Well, since folks are mentioning who it reminds them of.....

For us it’s like John singing a Paul write with a Pet Sounds mystique...or something like that smile

Your tendency toward positivity is always welcome and this certainly does not disappoint with the perfect vocal and arrangement to carry the message.

Well done!

THanks Dave. Really appreciate the nice feedback! No, the guitar is Brent (he's my fave in the box). I'll post the RTs soon. Take care. Greg

Nice one.

I agree... this is the missing Beatles track from their Sgt Pepper album.

Nice write too.

Everything about this is very good.

WOW Greg!! What a great tune!! As others have mentioned, it's very Beatlesque! Puts me very much in mind of Lennon's "Dear Prudence" , but truly stands on it's own! You have been producing some very good stuff lately and I am much impressed with your skills! Keep on rockin' Take care, Torrey

Well, this is simply fantastic. Simple as that!
So many mentioned the Beatles and Lennon, and rightly so.
I'd say that this song actually reminded me of "Free as a bird", which is Lennon / Beatles produced by Jeff Lynne. And indeed, the sound of your voice reminds me of Jeff Lynne a bit, but the melody is totally Lennon.
Anyway, this was a great listen. A real pearl.

Well... it hit you in a very cool way indeed!
The chord progression is awesome, so is the melody you sing (which is perfectly sung as always wink )
Now we're going to sit and wait until we get a certain hit too laugh

Fabulous vocal. the arrangement is superb as is the mix. Love the song and the message. Your vocal just makes it that much more enjoyable. Fabulous song and performance.

The opening is SO nicely put together. The beginning guitars are like nothing we've heard before, the addition of the strings and then THOSE DURMS!! Awesome. Excellent arrangement throughout. The return to simple guitars between verses was superb! All a perfect bed for the vocal...

And what a vocal! Gorgeous.

A stunningly beautiful write. I love the way you use words. A melody to die for.

Have to say again... This is about as good as it gets.

WOW.

I agree the forum has had some ON FIRE moments! Really flattered to be part of that, especially by someone with your discriminating taste! Take care. Greg
