HERE WE ARE AGAIN

Just a little something mellow for the new year, which hopefully is melodic enough to not scare away members with "musical allergies" to certain genres wink

Fundamentals, per usual:

Style is M_JAZMID.STY

Style MIDI Instruments are : Fender Bass (34), Acoustic Piano (1),
MIDI SuperTracks in style: ~~1917:Bass, Acoustic, Jazz Sw 110
MIDI SuperTracks in style: ~~1896:Piano, Rhythm Jazz Sw 110
RealTracks in song: ~1210:Guitar, Acoustic, Rhythm GypsyJazzBalladJohn Sw 110

I used PG's electric bass plugin rather than the default acoustic, a particularly good partner to the Mike LeDonne piano ST I used, for a bit of 'modern' flavour, rather than the default ST of the style. The added guitar is then just for a fill-out of the overall soundscape. Soloist guitar courtesy of Oliver Gannon.

And that's really all there is to this one - Enjoy! cool

Thank goodness words aren't knives.

Nice and mellow. Great performance.

I'm becoming more and more a fan of the midi capabilities and features of BIAB and your song is a great showcase. I thought the added guitar fit really well. Good job all around.

Enjoyed my listen.

Janice’s first comment was “carefree and happy.” She also said it reminded her of the Diana Krall “Live In Paris” group.

Excellent composition, arrangement and a crystal clear mix.

No allergies here.

Oh wow, there's a reference I so am not worthy of (I just adore Krall), but thank you for the listen blush

Eddie Mister Cool Icelander this is excellent. Love those vibs! What VSTi did you use?

Super cool laid back song that you should be very proud off!

Excellent song - two thumbs up.

Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up.
Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
