ROG,
Love this! To me it has a very cool ELO vibe going on. Excellent vocals and production. So well done!
Bob Hi Bob, Many thanks for the listen and the ELO comment - very pleased to get that. Cheers, ROG.

Rog
Sounds good - clearly it is the talent behind the DAW rather than the software.... Nice & catchy loved the yeahs and guitars. Great stuff.
Peter Hi Peter, That's very kind of you to say that. Many thanks for the listen and review. Cheers, ROG.

This is really, really good. I am trying to place who it reminds me of and it is not Tom Petty, and not Bob Dylan, but someone else..maybe Ry Cooder. Anyway, this is just 100% pure fun rock and roll fun. It proves that back to basics usually means back to good! Hi David, Ry Cooder has always been a hero of mine - no one is better at creating a groove, so I really welcomed your comments. Pleased you thought it was fun - that's exactly what I was going for. Many thanks. Cheers, ROG.

Wow! Great write, vocal, yeahs, guitar solos, production, arrangement, vibe. Definitely worth the price of admission. You clearly know how to move those fingers and twist those knobs in order to get “that sound”. It has such presence. It sure does catch your ear and makes you want to listen again and again. Great work, Tom Hi Tom, Thank you very much indeed for that, it's much appreciated. I always value your opinion. Cheers, ROG.

ROG, You've done it again! As Tom so accurately said, You clearly know how to move those fingers and twist those knobs in order to get “that sound”. It has such presence. It sure does catch your ear and makes you want to listen again and again. You've definitely got the knack for creating entertainment. I really enjoyed this a great deal. The lyrics are so very visual and everything about the presentation gleams with expertise. I found myself imagining one of your animated chalk drawings as I listened to the unfolding story of unrequited love, lust and betrayal! All the best, Noel Hi Noel. Thanks for describing it as "entertainment" - that's really what I was after with this one. Maybe I'll re-visit it with an animation one of these days. I always enjoy doing those, but they just take so much time... So, many thanks for looking in and the kind review. Cheers, ROG.

You had me sold with the "Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah" line.
Great groove, fun track, and guitar work is right on the money as usual.
Good one, Rog!

ROG,
There`s a raw youthful energy that really carries this- and the lyrics are fun and clever to match. To all the influences/bands brought to mind I`ll add :The Undertones -punk with a pop shine. Very enjoyable!

It's all been said and I agree with all of it.
This is one great fun loving 60's style rock song. It reminded me a little of the Kinks.
All I can add is that you should have fun more often.
Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up. Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.

Great set of lyrics to accompany an also very great song.
You've demonstrated the versatility that can be achieved with some very creative writing.
Tops! Hi Trevor, Many thanks for the listen and positive review. Cheers, ROG.

Great work, Tom I'll piggyback on Tom's comment, too... What a great sound! A stunning mix. The bass is superb. The guitars are all excellent. The drums sound live. The vocal sits PERFECTLY. The lead is exceptional - very musical. This has the energy of a live KINKS set. Love it! Top shelf. fj Hi Floyd, You really are too kind. I remember the excitement when the Kinks first hit the scene in the 60s - totally different from anything which had gone before. At 15 I was playing Kinks songs in our band at the school dance and then later in the clubs. Wonderful memories. To say - "This has the energy of a live KINKS set" is a fantastic complement. Thank you SO much. Cheers, ROG.

Fabuloso!! The "feel" reminded me of a cross between The Beatles "She's A Woman" and the Stones "This Will Be The Last Time". Yep - I AM that old! However, the tune and the lyrics are great. Despite the "adultery", they are quite humorous. Made ME laugh anyway. Stonking beat to it and good to hear that Tele working for a living. Gotta be on 10s to get that end bend, or you have fingers of steel. And its good to know that some people are still using the old Peavey Backstagers. Superb mix too. Really enjoyed it, Rog. Cheers ian Hi Ian, Glad you enjoyed the lyrics. A happy little tale about suspicion and betrayal, not written from personal experience this time. Yeah, the Tele has 10s fitted - good spot there my friend. The Peavey Backstage has served me well for many years. It's brilliant, though most people just think I'm too mean to buy a new amp. Many thanks for all your comments. Cheers, ROG.

What a great tune! I couldn't help but to tap my foot along to the beat of this one. Fantastic job. Hi Ember, Many thanks for the nice comments. I'm always pleased to get a positive review from the "staff". Foot tapping is always a good sign! Cheers, ROG.

You nailed this one! Right from the first few measures, I knew I was going to enjoy this. It's got an incredible groove, and the riffs here all pair together effortlessly. I'm definitely getting a late 60's/early 70's vibe here. Great work, and thanks so much for sharing
Cheers, Deryk

Beatles, Stones, Cooder, Wilburys, whatever...it had Janice singing along before the end of the first verse and continuing afterwards I’m not even aware of Powertracks and what can be done with it or them. So I can forget that and just comment on just how strong the song is. The melody sticks with you - easy to say but not easy to write. Your fine vocal, equally fine guitar, great lyric and the punchy mix are along with the melody just continues to invite one back for another listen. And that is what we’re gonna do. Fun! J&B Hi J&B, I'm just flattered to think of Janice singing along! Pleased that you enjoyed this one and many thanks for all the nice comments. Cheers, ROG.

I really enjoyed the use of the yeah yeah yeah coming in (someone already said it) but also your voice is kind of like a compilation of rock history. Hi Marty, "A compilation of rock history". Wow, many thanks for that - much appreciated. The "Yeahs" were just a bit of fun, referencing back to the Beatles "She Loves You", but they seem to have caught people's attention. Thanks for the listen. Cheers, ROG.

Robert Hi Robert, The "youthful energy" was a welcome comment. It's good to know that I can still raise the energy, even if the youth is long gone! "Undertones"? Yes, very welcome too. Many thanks for the review - pleased you enjoyed it. Cheers, ROG.

Good fun Rog. Reminds me of "Hi Heel Sneakers' an old favourite of mine. most enjoyable! Cheers. Hi Rich, Yes, definitely a "Sneakers" influence there. I'm a great fan of Tommy Tucker who did the original version. He wrote it too under his real name of Robert Higginbotham. He did some amazing blues tracks as well, back in the 60s. Pleased you enjoyed it. Many thanks, ROG.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
