Thanks Peter, I thought you might like this!

I would be more than happy to show you any licks I know. BUT! In return you would need to show me some of the cool things you have going on, that really fast thing you do for example smile

P.S. Someone over on soundcloud mentioned the Jimmy Page thing too. He is not a player I studied, but I listened to lots of Zeppelin back in the day. Something slipped in by osmosis maybe?

Dave and Chris,

This really sizzles!!!!!

The production is spectacular, the arrangement is magnificent, Dave's guitar work is inspired musical poetry and Chris's vocals are absolutely incredible.

Whichever speaker I turned to, nothing but the very best quality music met me. It was a journey and half in stereo on steroids!

Totally loved it.

All the best,
Noel

P.S. I'm glad you've linked this to Soundcloud. It's great being able to leave a comment.

Man, the back and forth with the guitar and vocal is SOOOOOO cool. Just playing off each other and together. Authentic. I like this! smile A LOT!

Man I loved that. Very reminiscent of Since I been Loving You by Zep from the early days.

Well played... I heard a few licks that I really enjoyed, that stuck out to me as... "yeah man"....

Tone on the guitar was right where it needed to be on this.

Vocals were good too.

Back again for a SC listen...now we can add it to the playlist!

Gets better each listen..if that’s possible!

Janice mentioned how much she likes the open airy live sound....and threw down her highest compliment “she has a lot of soul and so does his playing.”

I agree with Floyd's comment about Chris' voice - has a Janis Joplin aura to it.

Everything about this says "Smokin' Hot". What a great listen!!!! Best to both of you.

Alan

Thanks very much, Alan!

He was a great player indeed, one of a kind. I did a tribute to him a few years ago, shortly after he passed. It's up on reverbnation if you want to give it a spin, you might like it.

Edit: Just remembered you are not allowed to post covers here so I removed the link.

It's all been said and I agree with it all.

This is how blues should be played!

I can definitely see this being played on the TV show NCIS New Orleans.

You took me to a smokey blues bar where when this is played live even the pool players stop to listen!

This is a keeper.

Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up.

We'll also jump in with what Bob said.

Deep simmering blues...make no mistakes...the real deal here.

If you don't like this you don't have a blues note in your body. And you are leading an empty life smile

Like Tom said "Fresh out of the oven and red hot..."

Every aspect of the production is in the pocket. All of it.

Our only regret is that we can't add it to our fav Soundcloud list!

Smokin wonderful!

J&B

Thanks very much, Bud! I respect you immensely as a producer and as someone that knows what real blues music is, so comments like that make my day.

For the soundcloud thing, I always upload there but usually wait for a few days after I upload to reverbnation, because I have a lot more followers there.

Thanks again! smile

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
