Deryk and Ember,
Thanks for your overwhelming response. It means a lot to me. And you know, couldn't made this production without BiaB! So thanks to all PG and all the staff!!! :-)

Belladonna,
Thanks for paying attention to the song and the lyrics. And big thanks to my dear friend Norma Berry, for language consultation! Here it is:
The World Won't See
You walked the Earth on naked feet You saw those who had nothing to eat You gave them fish, you gave them bread You even raised the dead
You told the leaders they were wrong You talked about a Kingdom to come You returned to woman dignity lost You were willing to pay the cost
But, the world won't see The world won't see Our eyes can't meet It's you and it's me
You taught about a Fathers love You were revealed by a stainless dove You raised from the waters You poured your Holy Spirit on sons and daughters
But, the world won't see The world won't see Our eyes can't meet It's you and it's me
Jesus is Your Name And I carry my shame All my sins and my loss I lay my burden at Your cross
But, the world won't see The world won't see Our eyes can't meet It's you and it's me
But, the world won't see The world won't see Our eyes can't meet It's you and it's me

Very refreshing approach. Very cool vocals and very original percussion in this song. Also detect a subtle Alan Parsons influence (and you can"t go wrong with that).
Rob and Anne-Marie Thanks for listening, Rob and Anne-Marie! And Alan Parsons… Wow! :-)

We don't often use that word but every now and then it simply fits. This is a remarkable production that features supremely effective use of RT's, great vocals and a perfect mix. More! Kudos J&B

Thanks Scott! The vocals somehow worked this time – I'm a guitar player, not a singer ;-) BULL, you are a fantastic singer! Everything that I wanted to say has already been said and I agree with it all 100%. All I can add is this is a keeper. PS - you are a great guitarist also.
Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up. Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.

Einar,
This is beautifully done!
Really nice use of BIAB tracks that we don't see folks using often. There needs to be MORE of this kind of music in the Showcase.
The outro guitar is nice. Is that you?
Excellent vocals. Excellent mix.
Excellent music!
floyd Floyd's right on both counts-it is beautifully done, and we need MORE of it!! This is such creative and interesting music. I hear "my era" in there! Wonderful!! Take care. Greg

Good evening, "molsenhouse"...
Before I stumbled on composing lyrics and music for songs, I paid practically no attention to the production side of music recording -- all I cared about was the music, mostly.
But now, after listening to "The World Won't See" (what an attractive title!), it's clear that a song's production is crucial to the "success" of the whole enterprise.
The instruments were cleanly and clearly recorded and well-distributed through space. The sound effects gave the song a sense of cosmic importance.
I thought the vocal track was very well-sung, though I missed some of the lyrics. If Jesus heard your song, I hope it would speed up his return, so he could help us begin to repair this wayward world!
Sincerely,
LOREN

Rob and Anne-Marie Hi, What a terrific change of pace for the forum! Simply beautiful - as Floyd said, more of this would be a good thing. I fully agree with what Ron & Ann-Marie said. I think they said what I was thinking better than I might have said it. This is top-shelf all the way! Alan Thanks for listening and your nice comments, Alan. Really appreciate it!

Everything that I wanted to say has already been said and I agree with it all 100%. All I can add is this is a keeper. PS - you are a great guitarist also. THANKS Mario! During the recording process I paid more attention to the vocals, melody and the phrasing, than I ever done before. Usually, I pay most attention to the guitars. I wrote this song on a steel string guitar, chased a "wall-of-sound" idea, but – LESS IS MORE! The lyric demanded a lot of "air/space", and I decided to follow a simple guitar line that developed through the arrangement. Starting with a nylon string guitar on the verses, changing to steel string on the chorus and finally electric guitar at the end. And I used more time on the vocals and the other sounds than the guitars in this project. Though, I still consider me a more of a guitar player, than a singer ;-)

Man, that's one seriously innovative use of our precious application right there. I swear, even owners of the program would not be able to guess it if you hadn't told us! Thanks so much for greatly expanding my views on the possibilities of this nifty tool Oh, and the song itself isn't too shabby either

Thank you! The arrangement is definitely a big part of how the song communicate to the listener. Still chasing the goal of writing (and arrange) my best song ever :-)

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
