Really cool I missed it when it came out. I loved the process and especially the usage of studio one. I find that DAW really gives me a simplified but powerful workflow. I could use Reaper, cakewalk (I have both), or any other but I seem to get more done and easier in SD1.

I learnt as they say ‘round these here part, a lot about stops, hold, and such in practical terms. Great process and a really cool song.

Thanks for making this very informative video. I work in a surprisingly similar process, using BIAB and my go to DAW is REASON. I am going to check Sound Forge, for Mastering, and Studio One. Thanks for taking your time to make this video.

Great job Floyd, you kept me interested the whole time. And I dig the end result of your tune.

In the past I've left the drums (actually all the real tracks) alone and haven't put eq or compression on them, I just made the assumption all that good stuff was already done for me when the real tracks were recorded. Not sure anymore if that's case. At the end of the day, I suppose if it sounds good it is good, and your mix sounds good.

Thank you, Floyd (and PG Music).
I have had BIAB for a while but I'm new to using it for my songwriting. It was great to see someone used to doing this walk me through it (so to speak). MOre than I can absorb in a single setting but I'll be back for the whole deal.

I like the song!
It's inspiring to hear a songwriter's process.

I watched parts of this before, but this morning I visited PG Music's channel and went through this whole video. Well done Floyd, and Janice, and all involved.

For anyone trying to use BiaB and the Real Tracks to bring their songs to life, this is the way to do it.

Very informative. Highly recommended.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
