Hi All,

Here's something new. This is called Hej Då Stockholm.

I went to see you in the midnight sun
Arlanda touch down like I'm on the run
Will I find you by the station
Like some cosmic amalgamation

I know the night tries to get the best of me
New York City was not my destiny
Will you meet me in the morning
You don't need to give a warning

Cause I am gone
I am gone
I keep finding ghosts hej då Stockholm
Yeah I'm going home

I hear Berlin Bowie on the radio
Station to Station seemed so long ago
Will you listen to your favorites
This song is brief so we should savor it

Cause I am gone
I am gone
I keep finding ghosts hej då Stockholm
Yeah I'm going home

Cause I am gone
I am gone
I keep finding ghosts hej då Stockholm
Yeah I'm going home

Really nice production - good set of lyrics (looked up the translation of the title).
Liked the use of rhythm guitars in the breaks and an excellent vocal that fit the song like a glove.

I agree with Peter on all his points, especially the rhythm guitars.

And like Peter, I hit Google Translate as soon as the song was over.

When you got to the line Will you listen to your favorites I was wondering how the heck you would rhyme that. laugh

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Wow! John Lennon meets David Bowie.
Really like this. Reminds me of something from the early seventies.
Love your passion Bob. Good write.

Really good, Bob!

Some great lines, I love

"Will I find you by the station
Like some cosmic amalgamation"

I agree about the guitars, great choice there.

And then the icing on the cake is that cool, signature vocal sound that you have.

Enjoyed the listen!

Bob, You made some great choices here. The fade was perfect for the ending, some excellent rhymes, the perfect real tracks. The band sounds great. Your vocal is filled with passion. The lyrics tell the story like only you can tell. I am a fan! Tom

Wow - this is unreal! I really, really loved the guitar rhythms here. Very inviting lyrics and vocal delivery as well. Someone else mentioned a David Bowie comparison, and I absolutely understand where they are coming from. I love how it lights up at the chorus too.

Great job, and thanks for sharing smile

Nice folk rock song, I like especially the chorus. Nice namedropping also, been in Stockholm and at Arlanda couple of times, so this feel almost like a homely Nordic country song smile

Bob,
I always find myself listening for the cultural, time & place references in your lyrics - there are some telling ones here. Such a cool part of your writing.
And this is catchy, with a nice simple arrangement that highlights those rhythm guitars.
Once again you`ve demonstrated there`s no one better at using BiaB to make their own style.

Bob, I enjoyed this. You have a knack for perfectly mixing RTs that match your vocals. Super groove also!

I went line dancing last night. Well it was a roadside sobriety test, same thing.
