Hi all, & ( Happy Mother's Day)
So I was trying to get my "Self Piano Reflex " cheatsheet in my brain.
I improvised 187 bars on my keyboard, reduced that to 133 bars. I added 4 soloists, and reduced down to 82 bars. This is what I got.... hope you really enjoy it.

The title drew me in right away. "Wrong Planet". Relateable. The song had a much more mellow tone to it then I was expecting. With that particular title I was almost expecting something with a bit more longing or a sorrowful feel to it. I still think what you did was great though.

Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,
Ember

hi Ember - PG Music
I choose the title "Wrong Planet" cause I may have a spectrum of autism. It would explain the need to explore obsessively Music Theory ideas. Now I am exploring 12 tones...

Thanks David Snyder,
I am always looking for short cuts, and new ideas to make short cuts, while I play keyboard in bed...
which saves a lot of back pain.

I really enjoyed this! I like how mellow and and gentle on the ears it is. The calm vibes mixed with how abstract the presentation of instruments is really makes this a unique listen.

Great work, and thanks for sharing smile

Hello, LPman

Cool!
Surprising!
Like a free jazz, but easy to listen.
Very pleasant!
How do you come up with an idea for this tune?
I can never imagine.
Enjoyed my listen a lot.

Best regards.

Hi Shigeki Adachi,
The idea for this song in a nutshell, is recording my midi keyboard and replacing as much as possible the recorded midi file, with a BIAB midi. When I'm playing the cheatsheet the melody scales are calibrated more for rhythm Melody. I am playing to appease the BIAB godhead!

Thank-you so much Shigeki, may the BIAB-FORCE be with you!

Hi..I think you have some really skilled playing here..I am so envious of that kind of talent..you have some segments of bass in there...I think, if you want to develop this, or parts of it, you ought to add a more pronounced bass..it will bring your chordal harmonies into much more focus and make your improvisations more meaningful. Interested to see what direction you take this...thanks for sharing your experimental ideas!

Hi Tano Music,
Well, thanks for honest & helpful comment on this song. After I finally reduced this song to 82 Bars, replaced the midi drums with RT drum brushes, the loudness of the bass; became a problem. I imported the new 82 bar midi song through BIAB to get a new bass-line. I was not successful, so I just adjusted the velocity of each bass note in the original bass midi track. But the original midi bass track was reduced from 187, 133, 82 bars, so the midi bass track is partially dysfunctional.

I got worried that this bass problem maybe the Achilles's heel of my "self piano reflex" YouTube channel project... Right now my project is in jeopardy... I don't know how to fix this bass problem... I put the midi song and soloist wav file in my "Tethered 2018" google drive in case; someone else has the same bass problem... Hopefully the problem will be solved in the future. This song was written as an improvisation and created a bass problem beyond the scope of my expertise. So now I am trying to write a song; in a verse, chorus, and bridge format.
Will I end-up having the same bass problem? I don't know, more research required.

Thanks so much for your fair accessment in your post
Sincerely LazyPianoMan
