if you really want to attract composers and songwriters etc that already have a DAW that they have been using for ages - seriously consider adding the ability to change the Piano-Rolll editor behaviour to emulate behaviour in a specific well known DAW.

This would of course apply to keyboard shortcuts but could also add emulation of any other GUI and interface aspects for particular DAWs that make editing more productive.

So Cubase users can carry on editing MIDI as if they were in Cubase,
Logic users like they were in Logic,
Ableton users in Ableton,
Protools users in Protools....
And so on...

Doing so will really begin to signal to such pro DAW users that here is an alternate way of "prototyping" their musical ideas. One which carries the benefits of both BIAB AND MIDI in DAWs.
