Thank you very much for taking the time to listen and comment.
I am really glad you like this tune.
I have also loved Pachelbel's Canon in D major since long ago.
I much appreciate your kind words.

Hello, Tom

Thank you very much for taking the time to listen and comment.
I am really glad you like this tune.
I much appreciate your comment to the lyrics.
These lyrics were written by a colleague of the company I had worked for before.
I also write lyrics myself, but I always need lyricists because I write much more music than lyrics.
I am always very encouraged by your kind words.

Best regards.

Hello, David (Snyder)

Thank you very much for taking the time to listen and comment.
I am really glad you like this tune.
I am also a big fan of this progression.
And I entirely agree with your opinion.
Certainly 95% of our songs would disappear without this chord progression.
I am always very encouraged by your kind words.

Best regards.

Hello, Peter

Thank you very much for taking the time to listen and comment.
I am really glad you like this tune.
I also think the merit of this chord progress are demonstrated when both voices sing.
All the string phrases are borrowed from original Pachelbel's Canon.
I am always very encouraged by your kind words.

Best regards.

Hello, Janice & Bud

Thank you very much for taking the time to listen and comment.
I am really glad you like this tune.
Yes, vocaloid5 is amazing. I am surprised myself.
Combining the original highlight melody of Pachelbel's canon with this progression is a routine work, there are many similar arrangements in the past as well.
I listened to them very carefully and studied the way.
I am always very encouraged by your kind words.

Best regards.

Hello, Rayc

Thank you very much for taking the time to listen and comment.
I am really glad you like this tune.
It is very nice that you can play the cello.
I agree with you.
I have also loved Pachelbel's canon, but now it is certainly boring to listen through the entire song.
I much appreciate your kind words.

I love anime music, and this one could easily fit into one of those TV shows, like an intro or something.
The transpose trick is a real stroke of genius and very cleverly utilised, just brilliant cool

- Arigato!!

Shigeki Adachi,

This really is such a beautiful creation.

Once again, your flair for composing wonderful melodies shines bright and strong. I absolutely love the journey that you took me on. It was a pleasure just to sit back and let your music carry me along.

Some of the words and phrases that came to mind as I listened were: exquisite, haunting, terrific arrangement, I wish I could write melodies like this, that vocaloid sounds awesome, beautiful music....

I found this very, very enjoyable on all levels.

All the best,
Noel

I am really glad you like this tune.
Certainly Miku's voice is reminiscent of anime.
I am a big fan of vocaloid, but I have not seen much anime.
I much appreciate your kind words.

Hello, Noel

Thank you very much for taking the time to listen and comment.
I am really glad you like this tune.
I am always very encouraged by your kind words.

I love classical music very much and occasionally ask classical music for ideas of my songs. This tune is one of them.
I often listen to Bach when I am stuck on composing.
Also I listen to CDs of my favorite composers such as Aznavour, Francis Lai, Michel Legrand, Tom Jobim, Piazzolla and etc. repeatedly.
I think that perhaps it is tied to the idea of my melodies.

Thanks again for your nice words.
I am always looking forward to your comment.

All the best,
Shigeki Adachi

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
