Hello, I can connect my Fender Superchamp x2 amp with my laptop through usb. I should now be able to record in Realband. But i have no amp sound on my laptop. Could it be a drivers problem? This popped up when i clicked MIDI devices: https://www.dropbox.com/s/j048w6ezzxgcwb2/20180812_134817.jpg?dl=0I need some advise on this. Can anyone please help me? Thanks a lot in advance, Michell, Netherlands

I think you'd want to record it as an audio device, not MIDI, wouldn't you?
Check your Prefs-Audio-Drivers button area. See if it is available as an audio input.
You'll also need to know whether it is sending 16/44 bit rate, or maybe 24/44 or 24/48 .. if other than 16/44 you'll likely need to set RB default bit rate to match.

Hello Rharv, Thanks for your quick responce. As you've probably guessed i'm a total nitwitt when it comes to this type of knowlegde. I'm a guitarplayer, i would like to make simple backing track and play & record solo's. Just for practising purposes. Okay, i think my amp is available as an audio input. Looking at the picture, would you agree? Please take a look and let me know if you see anything incorrect.. https://www.dropbox.com/s/d5w40bwhe47a4x3/20180812_183348.jpg?dl=0Thanks again, Michell

Looking at your options, yes, I think you have chosen the best available options, but the Fender input looks weird in your image. I see 'Interne AUX' as part of the label. The 'e' at the end of "Interne" throws me. If it were an 'a' it may mean internal .. but with an 'e' what does it mean? Internet? Something just doesn't look right. See if you can download/install official ASIO drivers for it from Fender, maybe this image is showing what Windows found as it's best guess (probably from an update). Or if the unit came with an install disk, try that. Also, for that particular amp there is another software needed for some features; Fuse . https://www.soundonsound.com/reviews/fender-super-champ-x2https://fuse.fender.com/ Hopefully those two links help you solve it. Seems that particular amp's USB isn't as user friendly as some.

Hi Michell, Those settings should work, I'd try recording some audio and see what happens. That window should be called Windows Audio Drivers, not PortAudioDriversDlg though. Which build of RealBand are you running? You can find out by clicking Help - About RealBand. If the build is earlier than 5, please install this update: http://www.pgmusic.com/support.realband.htm#2018_5Thanks Kent PG Music

Good catch Kent! That's another weird thing in his image. Hopefully he is on 2018.

It'll be 2018, earlier versions didn't have the WAS drivers yet. I don't remember seeing that window labeled incorrectly before though, hopefully it's an old bug we fixed that I've forgotten about Cheers Kent PG Music
