G,day Friends.
I open Realband. Ok. Initializing accompianment. Ok. Go to open an .sgu song file. Nothing happens. Locks up. No error messages. Just a "ding" sound when I click on anything with the mouse. Any Ideas?

You're not the only one. I don't know why.
It happens to me at least once per session. I wait a few seconds and then hit my Esc key several times. I don't know why this works.
i5-3210 laptop. Win 10 Home. 2.5ghz, 64 bit. 6gb RAM. Focusrite Scarlet 2i2.

I sounds to me like there is a window / dialog box hidden behind the main screen for some reason that wants you to press a button. The next time this happens, try holding ALT on your keyboard, and press TAB a few times and see if that brings it to the front.

Thanks for the suggestion, Andrew. That has been the case for me one time. All the other times, RB will not minimize. You are just stuck.
I have also had instances of RB not recording audio and inability to copy from track to track (even after I deleted all data and set the track type correctly). I haven't kept a log, but I think it is worse since I updated. It has annoyed me to the point that I am looking at other DAWs.
I love BB and I think the people at PG are very nice. I don't know, but I get the feeling that RB is sort of a free bonus when you purchase BB. If that is the case, I can see why you might not want to put a lot of time into RB.
Would things be better if RB had an additional cost and had staffers dedicated to it?

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
