I Wish I Had Religion

A somewhat lyrically dark rock tune.

I played a number of rhythm & lead guitars(and sang a little).

I liked a lot the passage after the first chorus where the music seems to stops.
Well done.

That enlivened my evening!

It's very different from your usual and I found it mesmerising. To my ears, the chorus is great and has a lot of potential to be an anthem. Have you thought about using it with this in mind?

I congratulate you on all the effects wizardry too. It's something that I've started playing around with lately and it overwhelms me most of the time!

Cool lyrics and very strong chorus.

Love the break down after that first chorus, very effective, and after the last chorus leading into the guitar solo.
Twin lead guitars during the solo is very cool too!

It seems like it pretty cool but the vocals are completely swamped for the 1st few lines and gets lost again in the refrain.
When things drop back a little the vocal seems well set but it doesn't lift when the backing surges.
It's a terrific song, the arrangements are cool too - moving away from the obvious.
The solo is cool - and the movement in the parts is a treat.

I really like the song. Loved the guitar solo and the production. Really intriguing lyric, as well. I agree that much of the vocal got buried in the effects. Awesome write and nice use of the backing tracks.

Really nice work! Really interesting from a conceptual standpoint. I'd personally turn up the volume on the vocals a bit, but that aside this is incredible. I love the lyrics, and the vocals are powerful and unique.

Hello Peter, I thought this song was very well done! It may just be my musical tastes, but I feel this is probably your best to date when you take into consideration every facet of the song, production, instrumentation and musicianship! Someone use the word mesmerizing and I could not agree more! I enjoyed every second of it! Thanks, Torrey

Good lyrics, interesting little twists. Similarly, the changes throughout the song kept me interested to hear what would happen next.

I don`t usually repeat immediately on a song, but there`s no way to get all that`s going on here in one listen.
Its ambitious; prog rock with excellent lyrics, daring changes ( love that shift to the acoustic guitar at 1:30) and superb guitar layers.
On phones the vocals aren`t too far back for me - and there are some nice effects on them.
One of your best -and one of the most original songs I`ve heard here for some time.

Wow, what a dark mood! I like the dynamic flow of the song From a calm acoustic to strong chorus. Interesting chording and melody. Great arrangement completed by that solo guitar work.

We agree with Dave.
The song, the guitar solo and the production are very cool. But the vocals could do with a little less effects.
Anyway, a very interesting song.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 DAW Plugin Version 6: New Features Specifically for Reaper®

New with the DAW Plugin Version 6.0, released with Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows: the Reaper® Panel!

This new panel offers built-in specific support for the Reaper® DAW API allowing direct transfer of Band-in-a-Box® files to/from Reaper® tracks!

When you run the Plugin from Reaper®, there is a panel to set the following options:
-BB Track(s) to send: This allows you to select the Plugin tracks that will be sent Reaper.
-Destination Reaper Track: This lets you select the destination Reaper track to receive media content from the Plugin.
-At Bar: You can select a bar in Reaper where the Plugin tracks should be placed.
-Start Below Selected Track: This allows you to place the Plugin tracks below the destination Reaper track.
-Overwrite Reaper Track: You can overwrite previous content on the destination Reaper track.
-Move to Project Folder: With this option, you can move the Plugin tracks to the Reaper project folder.
-Send Reaper Instructions Enable this option to send the Reaper Instructions instead of rendering audio tracks, which is faster.
-Render Audio & Instructions: Enable this option to generate audio files and the Reaper instructions.
-Send Tracks After Generating: This allows the Plugin to automatically send tracks to Reaper after generating.
-Send Audio for MIDI Track: Enable this option to send rendered audio for MIDI tracks.
-Send RealCharts with Audio: If this option is enabled, Enable this option to send RealCharts with audio.
