Dave,
A very powerful write and a very powerful performance and presentation.
The piano/organ combination works really well for this. Nice production and mix. The "touch of fiddle", works well, too...
Seems like you have quickly "gotten comfortable" with the BAND!
Well done.
fj Hey Floyd, Thx as always for listening. I am definitely getting a better understanding of how powerful BIAB is. I am enjoying it and appreciate you recommending it to me. It has definitely opened up alot of possibilities. Appreciate your thoughts on this tune. I actually have a version with just vocal and piano which is how I originally envisioned it when I wrote it in 2013, but didn’t have any real piano chops. Very cool to hear it like I initially wanted. Dave

A strong and emotional write, great performance
Florida is well represented on these forums by
really good songwriters!
I love the sparse backing, it's my "go to" very often
good storytelling, it put me in the "Lord save me from this fate"
frame of mind.
Kenny Thank you very much for the comments Kenny it is greatly appreciated. Dave

POWERFUL, riveting, passionate!!! Beautifully done. I would not change a thing about this. BTW, is the piano an RT? I'd like to check that one out. My mom is 87 and this pretty much describes her life. It is difficult to watch. Fortunately her pain is relatively mild most of the time but there is so little there for her that I wonder how she pushes on. GREAT work here!! Take care. Greg Thank you very much for your comments Greg. I am sorry to hear about the issue your mother is dealing with. I hope things improve. The piano is RT. I tried to edit the initial post with the tracks but I couldn't seem to edit it, so I am going to post here ... This song was done with all RT's in BIAB, aside from my vocal. It is in the Key of G 80 BPM Style is _QUASAR.STY: Quasar Minimal Moden Pop Ballad Piano is 2693:Piano, Acoustic, Rhythm ModernPop16thsMike Ev16075 Organ is 2592:Organ, Rhythm ModernPopSlowMike Ev075 Bass is -2475:Bass, Acoustic, HeldSimple Ev085 Drums are RealDrums-NashvilleBrushesBalladPushEv16: a: Sidestick, Brushes b: brushes Fiddle is 1760 Fiddle, Background Pop 16 Ev85 Hope that helps

Hello, GocartMoz
Really strong vocal! Your interpretation is so emotional. I like Pre-chorus part the most. That part proceeds with the E minor key, and it is very good it resolves with E major only at the end. Enjoyed my listen a lot.
Best regards.
