regarding qwerty keyboard ive just been using the keyboard wizard with asio 4 all and it seems to play the correct latency when the song is playing but if i pause song and play qwerty it goes to pot but ok when i un-pause.

Hi It sounds as if you are sending your midi thru to a synth.Hence the latency for the journey time even worse via midi mapper. Try taking the tick out of the box (Route midi thru to midi driver) This way your thru will go to your selected VST/DXI if you have a tick in (use vst/dxi synth box above . Choose your vst you need a GM one. for now just use the Coyote wave table dxi if you don’t already use a better one, Give that a try. It should not matter what synth you have set in midi out now as you are not sending your midi there, but some folks have reported that it still a good idea to select something basic like Microsoft GS wavetable,
hello thanks for info video track...... the box was already unchecked
mike head i tried your suggestion and i still have same problem. image shows my latest sound settings.
still ok when the song is playing but when pause is on the notes on the qwerty play a sustainded note and once i have pressed a key it wont play anymore. so i can play all the notes on qwerty in any order but only once and then they stop playing. thanks

Hi As the wizard is for play along , You cant use it when the song is paused I get the same results as you if I pause in play, because the transport is no longer running it cant count the beats that you want the note held for as it has no runing tempo when Paused,
If you in fact stop the song your keyboard returns to normal text entry mode so that you can resume say adding chords to the chord sheet. Mike
mike yes i suppose the clues in the "playalong" description hah.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
