I have both and believe my money was well spent.
It is nice to have access to the information without having to go online. What I find most useful is both dictionaries allow "reverse chord" where you can input positions on the keyboard or fingerboard and the respective program will name that chord.
Where the guitar dictionary lacks is its inability to work with more than six strings or use any tuning other than E-A-D-G-B-E.
