Hi all, I’m pretty new at all this, but I seem to recall seeing that there’s a way to switch to another style during the song. I’m looking for a way to add interest and energy to the arrangement, and in browsing through all my Real Tracks I can see complimentary tracks that would sound great if I could integrate them. I’ve been looking through the manual and searching YouTube for the secret (if there is one) but so far...zip. Any help appreciated. Cheers, Wammer

Wow, this is all rocket science at the bottom of a steep learning curve I’m a Mac user. Can anyone point me to the part of the Mac manual that covers all this? I’m trying to get my head around what is possible and what isn’t. I’ve never had anything to do with Windows, having been a Mac user since the very first Apple 2e, so I get a bit confused if Windows stuff is included in the explanation. Thanks, Wammer
On my MacBook Air, I press the "fn" key plus "F5" at the same time to bring up the bar settings menu in BIAB for Mac. There you can change the style, the tempo, many other things. Check it out, search the manual for "bar settings menu".

On page 154 of the 2018 Mac Manual there's information on Bar Settings.
One of the things that I like most about the pdf manuals that PG Music provide is that they are very easily searched by the computer to find specific text. It usually makes tracking down information much easier than working through and index.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
