Hi all, Here's a french bossa. A guitar between the hands is a good way to travel...... Christian RD BossaBrushes RT 464 Acoustic Bass RT 477 Trombone RT 2140 Alto Sax RT 477 Trumpet UJAM Silk Virtual Guitar https://soundcloud.com/christian-devienne/une-guitare-entre-les-mainsUne guitare entre les mains, j’explore un nouveau chemin en défrichant la musique et ses sentiers harmoniques. Les premiers accords s’enchaînent et les notes alors s’égrènent. Ma guitare est indécise mais une bossa se précise. Une mélodie nostalgique vient compléter la rythmique. Cette bossa se veut légère, comme une brise du bord de mer. La main droite joue en arpèges et tout le morceau s’allège. On peut voyager très loin, une guitare entre les mains.

Really well done  The groove is really nice, and the whole tune flows perfectly. This is the kind of tune I'd imagine sounding great live. It'd definitely suit a dancefloor well! Great work and thanks for sharing

Your writing is 'alive' in the bossa form, for sure. All elements are true to the style--overall tone, chord changes, melody, etc. Tom, Vinicius, Chico, etc. would definitely approve!
Your vocal reminded me of Pierre Barouh!
I would like very much to see an English translation of the lyric.

Hi Tom,
I've tried to translate the lyrics.
There are perhaps some mistakes......
A guitar in the hands,
I'm exploring a new path
by clearing the music
and its harmonic trails.
With first chords,
notes come one after another.
My guitar hesitates
but a bossa is appearing.
A nostalgic melody
comes to complete the rhythm.
This bossa wants to be light
like a breeze from the seaside.
The right hand plays in arpeggios
and the whole piece is lighter.
We can travel far,
a guitar in the hands.
