Oh I'm a Jolly Banker, now that is who I am I'll take all your money, so gladly if I can Pay myself good wages, with a bonus now and then All about your interest, I do not give a damn
Most of my investments, turned out to be bad A mortgage can be flaky, some bonds as bad as that And when I lost your savings, all there ever was They'll cover me from taxes, and thus they save my [*****]
I'm a Jolly Banker, and how I love the job You think I'm neat and decent, and thus I'm not the mob Live my life in luxury, how can you be so blind I'm glad we're not in Iceland; as there they jailed my kind
I don't want no pardon, for what I was and am, I won't be reconstructed, I'll never give a damn I won't say I'm sorry, you're such a stupid sob I'm the Jolly Banker, oh how I love the job.
Oh I'm a Jolly Banker, now that is who I am I'll take all your money, and gladly if I can Pay myself good wages, with a bonus now and then All about your interest; I do not give a damn I do not give a damn, how I love a scam
Fiddler, this is a very cool, fun and accurate ballad of the Bad. Musically it's tidy and spot on. I do think the length of the delay (the one that arrives in the right ear) is too long and unmusical. Matching it to the beat or phrasing would be the icing on this lovely topical cake.

Hi Fiddler, thanks for sharing this! Excellent mix down on all of this and very soothing to hear. Excellent guitar riffs and very fun lyrics! Great work!
What a tune! I loved the groove of this, and the flow of it is impeccable. Got my toe tapping in about 10 seconds. Plus, the vocals are really memorable. Super tidy structure as well. Easy to follow, to the point, and concise. Mixing job is crisp too.
Started with a lot of tests, and drew two styles in to the process mainly, _MANIAC2.Sty (adapted from the original one), and _CHETPCK.Sty. Copied a lot of RT generated stuff (see pictures below) into my DAW, some stuff remained more than others ... and edited the hell out of the remains. But there's a 'real' fiddle and mandolin involved, and bass, percussion, coming from other sources. F.i. only some dirty PG hiphop groove remained in just one 8 bar lasting break. -F
At first at least to my ears this sounded way to busy. As I listened further I discovered how well this was put together. Great lyrics and I love the melody. Rob
Very cool tune. Love dthe lyric. Kind of reminded me of the lyrics of the protest songs from the 60's which I grew up on. Excellent backtrack. Loved the vibe. Well done..
Well done!! Excellent musical production and mix! Yes, I am STILL pissed off about the financial crisis and the weasels who run the banking industry. Nicely done!! Take care. Greg
