Hi Dave,
Beautiful melody and a nice chord progression, but I honestly think you'll have to experiment a bit more before you have a coherent song here. So sorry to write that because I generally really like your work.
I just think that some of the transitions and timings in this track is a bit off at too many places, which disturbs the listening-experience.
Please don't hate me for saying that!
I believe we all only can get better if we are honest to each other and I would feel like being dishonest to you if I wrote that the track is perfect as it is.
I know you have a huge talent for composing so I just think you have posted this track a bit too early (like I have done myself too many times).

Hey, good work, Dave.
I was intrigued by this Requiem at first listen, especially by how much you are squeezing out of Band in a Box. I don't know that I will ever get to venture into this territory. (Have my hands full with six strings.) Still, I admire your adventurous spirit. The graphic is priceless.

Thanks for your listen and kind comments.
Like my cohort Will joseph said, too much, too soon! There are still a couple of bugs I have to workout, but I'm impressed with the overall concept. The bass and piano sync is a bit**! But the fun comes after I get everything to compliment each other!
No perfection here, that why I call them experiments!!!

Dave, I'll echo some of my friends here on the forum, and your own comments..there's more work to be done here.
I agree with you that getting from the 'head' version that sounds so great down into the 'real world' is often challenging, sometimes frustrating, and sometimes takes a heck of a lot more work than anticipated.
I've just thrown in the towel on something that I've spent alot of time on (actually influenced by your work with strings and orchestral ideas)...I just couldn't get it to come out right, and my 'innovative' ideas kept crashing my DAW...finally I decided to move on, come back to it later (maybe).
I look forward to your work because of your interest in using those symphonic ideas and components, and how you treat strings...but I think on this one, let us know if there are updates!

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first?
