Really liked the tune - the old school rock n' roll groove on this got my foot tapping right away, and your vocal delivery was top notch as well. The harmonies complimented the lead vocals perfectly and were a great touch. Plus that solo at 1:30 is fantastic!

Solid tune altogether. Can't wait to hear more from you - thanks for sharing smile

Many thanks, Deryk and pleased you approved my excuse for absence!
Really glad you liked the song and, yes, I should be back to posting regularly this year.
Thanks for all the nice comments, especially about the solo.
Cheers, ROG.

This contains all the goodness we have learned to love from your productions over the years...so not unexpectedly, the write, your vocals, and your guitar/bass performance are top notch (as are the RT/RD choices and the mix).

As floyd mentioned it sticks with you...begging for another listen which we are about to do!

Kudos!

J&B

Hi there J&B.
Hey, thanks for looking in!
As always, I really appreciate getting a review from you two, and I'm so pleased you liked it.
Looking forward to spending more time here this year.
Cheers, ROG.

cool
John

Hi John.
Yeah, I remember Steve Gibbons - saw the band live back in the early 70s. Brilliant! I actually share the same birthday as Steve, but
he's a bit older than me. In fact, he's still gigging now at age 77. As Tom Petty said - If you never slow down, you never
grow old. (Last Dance With Mary Jane)
So, it's good to be back and many thanks for the kind review.
Cheers, ROG.

And I think I'm not the first one to tell you that your voice and way of singing has a lot in common with the young Ray Davis, for example singing 'Too Much Monkey Business'... Just to make sure: That's a huge compliment !

Stefan

Hi Stefan.
Many thanks for looking in on this one and I take it all as a complement!
Always been a fan of Chuck Berry and I guess it shows through a bit in this one.
Thanks again for the nice comments.

Rog, I just sat back and smiled listening to what you did with a 3 chord song! Excellent man!!! Guitar was great along with all vocals!! I really liked the effects on the background vocals! It made me realize how I need to pay more attention to that part of my workflow! Thanks, Torrey

Love the old 60s style rock and roll. Hear a twinge of Tom Petty in the vocals. Definitely one to get you up and dancing. Good write.

This is great. It sounds like the songs that came out of the rock resurgence in the late 70's. A lot of fun, great lyrics, and searing energy!

Hi ROG,

This is a really well created and equally well presented song. I reckon that classic rock n roll is one of the most inviting musical genres around and you've capitalised on all it brings to the table. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this. In fact, my feet started bouncing up and down from around bar 1 beat 2 and just kept on going until the end.

Very, very listenable music iced with very entertaining lyrics and singing!

All the best,
Noel

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
