Now that's something you don't hear a lot of these days.

Very nice.

J&B and Peter,
Janice sounds so relaxed and her timing is impeccable... not such an easy combination but y`all make it sound a snap.
Peter delivers great lines here...could have gone on much longer!

Very cool bluezy jazz or jazzy blues. Do not know where is that line of separation. Besides that everything is great on it from guitar to vocals to production, I do have a comment. I think that Janice should do more of these "chance" solos and more of these silly little ditties smile This is true music.

Thank you!

Misha.

Thanks for the kind comments it's always a pleasure working with Janice & Bud.

Team, great, fun lyrics, accompanied by a a pretty outstanding melody.

The bass part has been masterfully tailored to enhance the feel of the sing.

And scat is a great way to deliver too!

Vocals are Crown Royal smooth. The guitar is the pleasant buzz that follows. Fun and delightful song.

Hey, hot threesome,

that's really smoking..

Aside from the fact that this is my kind of music anyway, this one is especially nice, great, ouztstanding - simply love it - needless to tell you that it's already on my playlist !

Janice, you're a real scat cat, Bud, it sounds as good as always when you're involved and, Peter, yes: what you played here could as well be played by Slowhand himself.

But the whole thing leaves me with a serious question: Is ther anything Janice couldn't sing?

So good, so good !!!!

Cheers,

Stefan

Nice work on this one, guys! A really interest approach to scatting - I don't think I've ever heard it implemented in a non-jazz tune before. Makes for a really unique and engaging listen. Plus, the mix is superb. Sounds concise and professional.

Thanks so much for sharing smile

I like EVERYTHING about this!

The opening guitar is sweet!

The groove of the track is perfect. The short drum breaks are well placed throughout.

The mix is impeccable - as always.

The vocal...flawless...epic...the stuff of legends.

"...silly little ditty..." Yeah... right...

smile

Stellar, y'all.

Loved this from start to finish.

That "WHY DONCHA SCAT, SCAT, THINK ABOUT THAT" line is a nice hook, stays with you after the song is over.

The scat is awesome (overused word I know, but it fits), and Peter as usual is right on the money with his guitar work.

And as usual the mix is perfection.

Nice one you three!

Hey Dave, glad you liked the hook...Janice sorta made it up as we laid down the track smile And a big thanks for mentioning the mix!

Of course, the vocal is outrageously good - Janice has all the scatting swagger of Carmen McRae - just so good!

Loved it all!

Bob

Bob, Janice was thrilled to be mentioned in the same sentence with Carmen McRae! We are very appreciative of ALL your comments.

Thank you Herb. Janice has been a fan of Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong for many years and always loved it when she would scat and exchange riffs with him.

Glad you liked it!

Thanks Robert. That song is completely in Janice's wheelhouse. She walks around scatting guitar solos all the time!

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
