A big thank you to Dave Bell (of BlueAttitude)
a true professional and all around good guy

Muchas Cervezas Heladas
© 2019 Kenny Leverett

I remember rolling cross the state lines
Tumbling like a pair of dice
Always had a good time
Living on the red beans and rice
Sometimes just a little gumbo
Sure would make it awful nice

Louisiana hay ridin’
Rock n rolling all night long
Chicken pickin’ line dancin’
Covering all the favorite songs
Muchas cervezas heladas
Till the break of dawn

And the people down there
Sure do treat you fine
Working hard all week long
Looking to unwind

Biloxi Mississippi
Back to Baton Rouge and gone
A night in Texarkana
Maybe south to San Antone
Muchas cervezas heladas
Till the break of dawn

Muchas cervezas heladas
Till the break of dawn

Drums Americana Roots 16ths
Bass 2260 Funky Groove 60s
Piano 2157 Electric Vintage (my fav)
Guitar 2634 Country Blues Rock

Dave second verse fills and 1st solo
Me intro, 2nd solo, outro

Kenny & Dave...

Killer. (to be expected). A terrific pairing of two of my favorites!

A good, fun lyric and a driving rocking tracks. Cool guitar work throughout.

What a vocal! (made MY throat hurt). Good mix.

It's all there. Well done!!

Woohoo!!! Rock on you guys - lawdy, that puppy is LOUD! Got the monitors dancing on the shelf smile

What a cool lyric...man, that imagery screams VIDEO!

Everything is just hittin' the note for a classic rocker. The guitar performances are terrific as is that killer vocal -- how long did it take before you could talk again smile

Take all the above and wrap it up with an excellent mix and you have an instant classic...seriously

A great addition to our playlist!!

J&B

PS It sounds great on the monitors and we look forward to listening on the big system this evening!

Cool and raw R&Roll collaboration. Great vocal delivery and awesome guitar lines!

Kenny and Dave, that guitar and vocal contrasted with each other create such a GREAT sound!! Kenny you can offer up such a gritty nasty (in a good way) vocal when you get into it, and it's perfect for this one! What can you say Dave's guitar playing except that for my money his tone and playing is some of the best I've heard! Great work guys! Thanks, Torrey

Kenny / Dave,

What a tune! A really solid rock song you got here. Reminds me of the 70's, which is most definitely a good thing. It has some serious attitude behind it. Not a thing I'd change - the vocals, guitar, and groove all work perfectly.

You nailed this one - thanks for sharing smile

Kenny and Dave,

What a song!!!! My floorboards are still rattling!

Kudos to you both. You've created a very entertaining listen and such an amazing backing!

Kenny... how on earth do you manage to sing vocals like that. If I ever tried to do the same, I'd be on throat lozenges for a week afterwards!

A great journey!

All the best to you both,
Noel

Kenny & Dave, great collab! Kenny’s signature vocal grit and Dave’s usual guitar slinging smoothness combine for an outstanding rocker. Well written and produced and I enjoy it immensely. I can’t for the life of me understand why anyone would ruin a perfectly good beer with tomato juice. I know I know it’s a matter of taste. Back when I used to spend time on what was once the fun side of the wall, l discovered a chaser for tequila called Sangrita. That is the correct spelling, with a T. Hard to find but it is on Amazon. It immediately neutralizes the shot and therefore can be really dangerous. Use with care. Maybe if you try it you’ll write a sequel. Keep on writing these smoking tunes, Tom

This is John Lennon!
Supe vocal and cool guitar!
I was overwhelmed by your singing skills.

Hey Shigeki,

Thanks for your listen and kind words,

there's a slap back effect on the lead vocal (like Lennon)

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."

Convenient Ways to Listen to Band-in-a-Box® Songs Created by Program Users!

The User Showcase Forum is an excellent place to share your Band-in-a-Box® songs and listen to songs other program users are creating!

There are other places you can listen to these songs too! Visit our User Showcase page to sort by genre, artist (forum name), song title, and date - each listing will direct you to the forum post for that song.

If you'd rather listen to these songs in one place, head to our Band-in-a-Box® Radio, where you'll have the option to select the genre playlist for your listening pleasure. This page has SoundCloud built in, so it won't redirect you. We've also added the link to the Artists SoundCloud page here, and a link to their forum post.

We hope you find some inspiration from this amazing collection of User Showcase Songs!
