I passed along your comments on the vocal to Chris, made her day! She wanted it to sound delicate and vulnerable.

And yeah, something very special about tele’s, especially for clean sounds.

Thanks, Bob!

"dreamlike" is exactly the mood we were shooting for with this, so happy you picked up on that! And doing guitar lines around a vocal is something I always like to do, assuming there is room to do so.

Glad you liked this, thanks for the listen and comments!

This is captivating in a cool ethereal way.

We've oft said it but you and Chris have a (perhaps synchronicity is the word) way of complementing each other's contribution that is rare in the music world.

We talked about this but just decided to say that this is one of the best blues rock based ballads we've heard...and that covers a lot of territory smile

As floyd said EVERYTHING is good. Over the top good.

Wow!

Wow - you really did an amazing job with this. It's a gorgeous, lush tune with a perfect arrangement. It sounds really professional, and the vocals on it are stunning. Nicely catchy as well, and the guitar work is fantastic.

Not a thing I'd change - thanks for sharing smile

Hi Dave,

I wholeheartedly agree with Trevor when he says...

There's an other-worldly quality about this presentation that mesmerised me as I sat here listening. You and Chris have done a terrific job.... very, very enjoyable music in every way.

All the best,
Noel

The highlight for me is your guitar on this ( I thought that intro was an RT`til I read your

Well done to you both.

Robert

Hi, Robert,

I often use the acoustic guitar RT's, and sometimes the electric rhythm guitar RT's, but the lead guitar is always me. I figure the lead guitar is my job, plus it's fun smile

Thanks as always for your support!

Nice guitar tone and just the right amount of delay.
It may be worthwhile trying to lower the click in the kick drum during the rim shot/side stick sections as they have the click & tap have a lot of frequencies in common.

Thanks, Ray, happy you liked this!

Can you expand on what you mean by lowering the click in the kick drum if you don't mind? I'm not sure what you mean by that.

Hi Scott,

Yes, my tele has been my favorite guitar for a while now, it's the one I always grab if I just feel like playing and it's the best for the clean sounds I think.

Thanks!

Wow, love the vocal on this—of course, accentuated brilliantly by the piano and those slick underlying guitar (and lead) licks. Nice ratcheting up on those drums in chorus. Really digging this one. Nicely done!
