This is genuinely exceptional. A genuine example of how to use BIAB to its full potential and a real example of pure creativity on your part. Standing ovation from me - bravo.

Mike, everything about this works so well.

I really enjoyed the FX that you have applied to the sax. The bass line gives dimension and a great funky feel throughout. Perfect mix.

(Is there a small glitch in the audio at 2:54 and 4:19?)

Smooth, cool, hard to forget this one.

SMOOOOOOTH
I was desperate for a vocal by the one minute though.
That's just a personal bias.

Nice work as always Cubanpete! This was wonderful! Very spicy synth lines and great use of reverb on the saxophone. Quite enjoyed those guitar licks too, that bassline has a ton of movement. Well done!

Cheers,
Joe

Thank you all for the time to listen and the nice comments. It makes it all worth it. Concerning the "glitch", I noticed that but I'm not sure what may have caused it. I'll check the raw file and see if I can correct that.
Thanks again.

Mike B.

Nice job assembling these RealTracks Mike! I particularly noticed the synth coming in and out (Very effective) ! It's an enjoyable composition that rests smoothly on the ears! Thanks, Torrey

Hi Mike,

that's a real goody. So incredibly smooth ... If it wasn't just 10 a.m. over here I'd consider fixing a nice drink, sink in my favorite chair and day dream myself away ...

Cheers,

Stefan

What a tune! Love the groove, and the smooth laid back vibes on this. Reminds me of certain Bob James tunes at points. The time of tune you can easily bop your head to and get lost in.

Thanks for sharing smile

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
