Fate Is A Woman This time I started with an idea to combine tango and funk somehow. So I ended up with this kind of little tune. The words were born quite easily from the thought of dancing tango of life with a fatal woman. RealDrums: LatinFunkAlex^1-a:SdStick, b:BsySnare RumbaFlamencaPerc^1-a:Sstick, b:Snare RealTracks: #3049:Bass, Acoustic, SpanishTangoNeil Ev 120 #1792:Tuba, DixielandMedium Sw 110 #3051:Accordion, Rhythm SpanishTango Ev 120 #2906 Piano, Electric Vintage #2818:Guitar, Electric, Rhythm GospelSoul8thsBrent Ev16 110 #1637:Guitar, Electric, Rhythm JazzFunkBreezyChords Ev16 075 #2929:Guitar, Acoustic, Rhythm PopFunkyJoe Ev16 110 #3251:Guitar, Baritone Electric, Rhythm ModFunk1NoteMark Ev16 110 #3203 Acoustic Guitar Soloist Vocals by me Mixed with Cakewalk By Bandlab Lyrics: Fate's leading me and I only squeak I dance tango to her beat. Can't figure out those patterns of her steps stumbling on my tangled feet. When fate implied I blindly believed then she smiled and changed her mind. She said to me: gotcha and ha ha ha ha ha her laughter was gleeful and unkind. Fate is a woman cunning and capricious cruelty may be her profession she promises, revokes "to trust or not to trust" that is the question. Last night she gave me a smooch on my cheek then at dawn she kicked my knees. Fighting in vain, tomorrow will be sealed not once I've had access to her keys. Fate is a woman... Only if fate's hand permits finally, love will grant you a kiss but she'll take what is hers all the moments to miss she'll leave you the longing for bliss. The intention of fate baffled Hawking as well defying any reasoning. The secret unsolved, the meaning of her hints in my coffin I'll be wondering. Fate is a woman... ----- Janne

What a cool mashup of styles! That is a remarkable selection of RT’s and, wow, do they ever work well together.
Added to that are cool vocals, lyrics and a strong miix.
Lots of fun and a joy to listen to!

A pleasant whimsical creation... Your lyrical story & delivery adds to the cunning and capriciousness of your work... I really like the lines...
The intention of fate baffled Hawking as well defying any reasoning.
The secret unsolved, the meaning of her hints in my coffin I'll be wondering.
Really cool writing... How in the world did you come up with this great satirical thought?" I really enjoyed the listen!

You did a really nice job on this There's some really interesting chord progressions here, and I love the groove on this. It flows very smoothly, and got my toe tapping in seconds. The vocals are top notch as well. It's nicely catchy. Thanks for sharing!
Cheers, Deryk

Hi Janne,
What wonderful musical adventure!!!
Your imagination has gone into overdrive in the creation of this work. You've mixed and matched some really diverse music genres, and it works! You kept me entertained from start to end. I also really like the melody, the lyrics and your singing... everything sits snugly together and creates a music treat.
It's two thumbs up from me!
All the best, Noel

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
