Saturday morning about a week ago, I went for a walk at the beach close to my home.

We had unusual high temperatures for a February month in Denmark. It was a foggy weather, but visually beautiful to see how the sun was fighting to shine through the mist and light up the day and the surrounding landscapes.

I spent way too long time that morning at the beach (and was not properly dressed for the weather) and as a result went down with a cold and high fever for a few days. On the other hand the experience inspired me to produce this track:

The Morning Mist

RealTracks used:
Bass: RT1162
Drums: BodhranCelticReel
Soprano Sax: RT2419
Cello: RT3261
Guitar: RT1164

I hope you will enjoy the track!

Will,
Cool track with shamanic element. Very clear mix. Reminded me of music of Norwegian singer Mari Boine.

P.S. I recorded couple of my best songs when had crazy flu...just saying, not suggesting you have to aim for it smile

Thank you!

Misha.

Did you ever get the chance to guitar noodle over that "Baby And The Bass" tune...
I looking forward to hear what you do with it.

Interesting juxtaposition of instruments.
The sap. sax reminded me of Roxy Music.

Wow - this is a really intriguing and interesting piece of music smile It has a really mysterious, eerie quality to it that I liked. Oddly beautiful, and a really good example of Band-in-a-Box's diversity as well.

Really well done - thanks for sharing!

Interesting Celtic feel, the sax brings some mystic mist into the song. Nice to hear that new cello RT in use.

Will,

You are putting together some very interesting tracks.
Unique. Enjoyable.

You could easily do rap lyrics over this...

Good mix. A good listen.

Hi Jim,

Was that you commenting on FAWM? I get confused about all these different usernames. smile

Yes, it works to jam with the guitar to the track, but I am disappointed with myself over the track and I will delete it when FAWM is finished, because it didn't turn out the way I wanted.
Techno is actually a very hard genre to make a good track in, it often sounds simple but it is quite demanding to make a good dance-able track.

Anyway... thanks for listening and commenting!
Will

Hi rayc,

Thanks for listening! Now I have to look up the meaning of "juxtaposition" - never heard that word before.
But thanks for commenting!

That is a very creative mashup of RT genres that resulted in a nice song.

And the mix sounds really good on our monitors.

We enjoyed our listens!

Well done

Excellent tune. Love the way the song built and you tucked in some new instruments. Was very cool to anticipate what was next. Very engaging
