Jim, you made my sad daylight saving day happier! You write super positive tunes. So true. We have a friend and after he leaves, room continues to smell of his perfume for couple of days. But I should probably be on a safe side and not send your tune to him This sounds a bit like Leonard Cohen, but with hilarious underline. Well composed and sang!
Jim, do I ever relate! Most perfumes bypass my allergy meds leaving me dazed and queezy. Some give me a pounding headache if I'm exposed very long. I told an RN last summer that either I would have to go stand out in the hall and talk to her through an open door or put a towel over my face to be in her office because her perfume was making me sick. It had almost knocked me down when I walked in the room so I got up and kinda backed out when i said it. when she got over the shock we settled on the towel and I got out of there as fast as I could.
Love it! Made me laugh out loud. Sounds good. Great job!

Lots of truth in this, Jim! I played lead guitar in a band for over 50 years and some of those folks would come up to request a song and my noise hairs curled into knots that confused Eagle Scouts! I always wondered if they were covering the fact that HADN'T taken a bath, or if they thought their fragrance was so wonderful the whole world should share in it!
Anyway - nicely done! Enjoyed my listen a lot! Best to you ...
Hey Jim, Sorry I haven't been around as much really swamped with work for another month and a half. I didn't get to write many FAWM songs but I did listen to a few of yours. I heard this one last night really funny. Very creative. However, I'm not sure taking a bath would help some people as it seems all the soaps and deodorants are also highly scented. My husband who is really allergic to smells swears all that stuff is weaponized by the deep state to kill us off. I think he's kiddin' when he says that. However, sometimes when someone comes to my office with it on, it hangs around for days, so totally agree. Good protest song!!!
Very funny little tune. This is so true nowadays in open-space office. Instrumentation is also nice, kind of a Johnny Cash feeling in it and Roy Orbison feeling in your vocals

Thank you for posting, Misha.
Thanks, Misha... I think we all have friends & co-workers like the one you described ... I glad you enjoyed it.

Been there & have experienced your suffering... I once had to embarrassingly leave a Sunday School class because I couldn't breath... Fortunately I wasn't the teacher ... I happy you can relate.
That was fun...not so much fun when either Bud or Janice get exposed to folks who saturate themselves. Runs the allergies sky high!
Bud's first realization that he had these allergies was in high school in the early 60's when the girls would wear the popular "Jungle Gardenia" and whoa! when they were sitting next to the steam radiator it would knock you out.
Jim, anytime I listen to a song that makes me laugh out loud it catches me off guard and makes me straighten up and pay attention. I loved all of this. So true and so well presented. Loved it, Tom

Now that's a funny image... "nose hairs curled into knots that confused Eagle Scouts"... That in itself could be used in a song or a song title... If you don't use it, I just might steal it Thanks for your support!

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
Update your Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows® Today!
Update your Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows for free with build 1111!
With this update, there's more control when saving images from the Print Preview window, we've added defaults to the MultiPicker for sorting and font size, updated printing options, updated RealTracks and other content, and addressed user-reported issues with the StylePicker, MIDI Soloists, key signature changes, and more!
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
