I think the BIAB arrangement is pretty cool and the dual slides at the end were an excellent measure.
What sold the song best was the vocal - ragged glory is the best description I can think of.

Kenny, It is not easy to make a good rock song. You done a good job on it! A little "Chill me to the bone" feel, but that is how music supposed to be  Interesting write, both musically and lyrically. Thank you for sharing! Misha. Thanks Misha, I appreciate your comments.

Powerful stuff! Nice to hear some edgy rock song on this forum, Paul McCartney comes to my mind first and there is some helter skelter in your voice also. You have mixed that great arrangement really well.

Kenny, I've listened to quite a few of your tunes and many are really good.....but to me this is your best so far!! It has very interesting lyrics, a great funky/rock sound, a great vocal and a beautiful mix!! It's the complete package! The dueling slide parts are a real plus in this, they really help raise this to a higher level! A great listen!! thanks, Torrey Thanks Torrey, It doesn't feel like my best but I'll take it.

This is one of the best Titles I've ever heard. It draws you in so strongly that you have to listen. Great mix. A super concept for a great write. A bad@ss vocal that is so raw and rough around the edges that it makes Rod Stewart look like Tony Bennett. Everything is very well done on this rockin ride. Loved it, Tom Tom, Thanks so much, you made me laugh with the Stewart/Bennett comparison.

Tom hit this right on the head. Have to agree with every single word he said. Love the two guitars on the lead riffs - a bit of shredding & drive on the left with a simple but perfect lead line on the right - great idea and delivery! Just one question my friend ... I remember when my friend got their first car and within a week her window got smashed out and she had to put a trash bag over it until she could afford to repair it. All her money had just been sunk in to purchasing the car. I had almost forgotten about how miffed she was until just now!

Yeah man, we've seen those black plastic bag/duct tape windows! Bud said "he's hittin' the note," and Janice followed up with "he's cookin' I see him on stage with a fine band!" And Bud said "I'd pay to hear that!" And Janice said, "I can't keep my feet still!" How the heck do you pick something like that and write such a cool song around it? Did you see one and it popped into the head? Or did it just pop into the head? Super vocal, write, RT/RD choice and arrangement. And a rock mix that's as good as it gets. I wanna be able to do that when I grow up. On top of everything it just flat DRIVES!!! High bar stuff buddy... J&B I picture the two of you dancing' around the house while the speakers blast, thanks guys for your support and kind words.
