Any comments encouraged.
Always welcome.

Best regards.

Shigeki Adachi

Title: 偽りの愛 (Translation: False Love)

Style is TEKINDY.STY, Independent – Electronic
Style MIDI Instruments are:
Synth Bass #2 (40) played by Kontakt,
Electric Piano #1 (5) played by Kontakt,
Kalimba (109) played by EastWest symphonic orchestra,
Choir Aahs (53) played by EastWest symphonic choir,
RealDrums in Style: TechnoIndy^02-a,b:CyclePartMarker
Guitar Solo: 1354:Guitar, Electric, Soloist PopShining Ev 120

Summary of lyrics:

I am puzzled by your attitude everyday
I have a lot of trouble with your lie

I always cannot escape
From sweet words that you tell me

Let me go
Without holding me with such a painful cry

You always use such a manner
I know your way very well

I'm going back to you every time
Without breaking my love for you

My walk stops in front of you
I have come back to you to be loved today too

Shigeki,

The clarity of the mix is outstanding on this tune. I also love the electric guitar - really nice.

Great use of the vocaloid - a very natural feel.

Excellent job!

Very nice composition...
Reminds me of the haunting melodies I associate with the James Bond classics...
It sounds really good to my ears.

Hi Shigeki ....

What a great song! Has hints of mysterious luxury to my ears. Rich, vibrant and impossible not to listen to. The sparse backing tracks give the lead vocal and guitar full opportunity to sound their best. . A perfect film soundtrack piece. Excellent! Wishing you the very best ...

Shigeki Adachi,

Outstanding.

The drum tracks grabbed me immediately. I've never heard that one - so thanks for "showing it to us".

The bass sits nicely along side the drum track. The vocals sit well in the mix. The synths are at a perfect level. An excellent mix.

Very well done. I enjoyed the listen.

Wow - this is stunning! The mix is absolutely flawless, as others have mentioned. I love how moody and dark the backing tracks are. It sounds very modern, and really showcases just how versatile Band-in-a-Box can be.

I thoroughly enjoyed my listen - amazing work as always! Thanks for sharing smile

You have made nice selection of instruments for this haunting movie soundtrack type of piece, definitely has that fateful Bond style melancholy which the vocal track interprets nicely. Kalimba and the electric guitar create perfect athmosphere.

Excellent song Shigiki. I also got the James Bond vibe as well. Your music is always so well done and dramatic. This quality of the bix and productions really stuck out for me on this. Guitar was just excellent. Well done...

Excellent song - had a late 60s spy movie theme feel to it.
The vocaloid is really good though there are some points at which the voice eiother distorts a little or get bit crushed and grating.
The choice of guitar solo is inspired - really runs against expectations and achieves maximum impact as a result. Naturally the solo over the outro isn't quite as exciting but it works a treat.
Have you listened to The Last Shadow Puppets? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XGV8xCkpXjE

Excellent work, excellent.

This is outstanding! Very very nice! I agree with other comments...luxurious, shades of Bond, great use of vocaloid, and the surprising guitar solo totally works...totally! Awesome!

Superb track, Shigeki! A pleasant, challenging and haunting rhythm... with a great chord progression... it went right into my heart. Really liked your idea with this song.

I'll take a second listen now... your track deserves it.. it is that good!!!

Edit after listening again: I think a fade out would have been a better ending (with a wild guitar solo). smile

Will

Hi Shigeki Adachi,

This is so very, very impressive to listen to. All I could think of was...

Everything about this composition is inventive... it's a masterpiece!

The mood that you produce with your arrangement is truly spectacular. The opening makes me feel like I'm in the middle of a James Bond spy movie... the tension that you continually create and resolve with such musical precision is a huge credit to your arranging skills.

I really, really enjoyed listening to this.

All the best,
Noel

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
