That's how you get it done Scott! When you're in a dry spell, take a negative and turn it into a positive! A nice dreamy piece with a great guitar sound! Thanks, Torrey

Hi Scott,
I was just thinking the other day that it's been a while since you uploaded a new one, and then here it is!
I know what you mean, I used to do lots of instrumentals back in the day and it can be tough sometimes to come up with a theme so that it's a true instrumental and not just a guitar jam.
You did the job with this one though, I like what you did. The guitar in the song pic looks cool, is the top neck a 12 string? Can't quite make it out from the picture.
Anyway, this sounds good to me!

Well the struggle certainly yielded an outstanding moody piece.
The 12 string is very cool.
We love the cinematic relaxing feel of this and, of course, the excellent playing and mix.
Nice!!!!

I couldn't tell you struggled with this song at all. This song was very lovely and had a nice, soft, gentle, sound to it but was still impactful.
Thanks for sharing!

What a lovely, relaxing a dreamy piece. Loved the call and response guitars. Thanks this one was on the work bench for quite awhile. Glad you liked it. That's how you get it done Scott! When you're in a dry spell, take a negative and turn it into a positive! A nice dreamy piece with a great guitar sound! Thanks, Torrey Thanks for the huge emotional uplift Torrey. I was sitting on the fence on this one. Was at the place where may I would just continue to listen to all the cool songs on the forum support everyone that way. But I kept going back to it and glad I did. Makes me want to start another... Hi Scott,
I was just thinking the other day that it's been a while since you uploaded a new one, and then here it is!

Anyway, this sounds good to me! Thanks so my Dave I do appreciate your comments. Yes I used the guitar on one of the rhythm tracks. I used the twelve string for it. It is quite a beast. It is a custom build from a fellow here in Edmonton. Always wanted on since I saw Jimmy Pages and Don Felders Gibson. The fellow did a hippy theme. He named the guitar "Milto" after Milton Berle as the top is made with a Burle wood.

Nice work on this! I wouldn't have known the struggle behind this if you hadn't said so, to be honest. Some really lovely progressions here, and nice and easy on the ears. Easy top bob your head to and relax while listening. Thanks for sharing

Hi Scott,
I don't think you have to struggle so much. Hearing your song it didn't sound like a struggle to me. As I replied on your Soundcloudsite I wish I could play that leadguitar like you. Seemingly without any effort whatsoever. And the sound is great. Would you like to make a Metal-song with me ;-)
Thanks Scott Hans

Hi Scott,
Like those above me, I really enjoyed the relaxed and calm musical journey that you composed. I loved how you used delay on the lead to enhance the moodiness of the music. It was very effective.
It's two thumbs up from me!

Scott, Resurrections around this time of year are generally considered a good thing! This one is no exception . . it sounds really slick to me . . . I don’t generally gravitate to instrumental songs, but this one kept my interest—crisp and engaging. Smooth and skillful production. Cool tune! All the best, Deej

It may have been a struggle, but it sure is easy listening.
I did find the drums a bit distant, but I really like your use of space between those tasty guitar runs.
Congrats on that double-neck.

My buddy Robert is on hiatus right now so maybe his will checking and have an idea for the song. He is so good a coming lyrics for about any vibe. Yes this is the guitar in the picture I was describing in the initial notes. When I saw the peace sign on it, it took me back to my younger days in the late 60's. I always wanted a guitar with a peace sign on it since I saw Alvin Lee's 335 in the Woodstock movie. I just couldn't bring my self to put a sticker on one of my guitars

Scott, Very cinematic - I like the way Janne put it; the "conversation of the guitars" makes this work very well. I`m ever willing to come out of my cave to see if I hear words to go with your guitar lines;these dreamy sounds seem just fine as is though.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
