Wonderful ebb and flow that sounds very special in the stereo. Meditative and interesting. I like this a lot.

Wow - this is stunning! Definitely getting some Tangerine Dream/Brian Eno/Philip Glass vibes here. Love how lush and vibrant it sounds. Not a single dull moment, and it flows beautifully.

You should be proud of this one - thanks for sharing smile

Cheers,
Deryk

It's always nice to hear something different here...particularly when it is produced as well as this.

To our ears it's a vibrant new age groove that we would think took a lot of thought and time to put together...so textured.

Nice!

Will,
Really cool and relaxing piece! Very good arrangement and mix. Rt's and the Heavyocity soft worked together smoothly.

P.S. Seems that Vocalise soft is pretty advanced tool.

Thank you for sharing!

Misha.

Love the sound, makes me want to get Vocalise. Nicely constructed, well done.

Has very nice Celtic feel, good usage of vocalise, other instruments are also selected very well, although I wonder how a harp would have worked instead of the piano.

Hi Jim,

Thank you for your kind comment!
Yes, it took some time to get the composition I had in my head translated into real music. I often spend a lot of time thinking about the arrangement, etc. before I actually do anything with instruments or software.

This song is quite unique and different from the kinda stuff I feel we typically see on the showcase. I enjoyed it! Thanks for sharing.

Hi Misha,

Thank you for the kind comment!

To be precise it is actually Vocalise 2 I am using (not the original library - which is good too).

Hi Janne,

Thank you for your kind comment!
I actually auditioned the track with a harp, but I liked the overall vibe more with the piano.

Take care!

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
