Moin, habe folgendes Problem: Coyote WT und auch ForteDXI laufen nicht unter Biab 2018, wenn ich versuche sie zu laden erscheint folgende Meldung:
Accecc Violation at Adress 004052BA in Modul bbw.exe. Read of Adress 2E656760 at: 004052BA
unter Realband gibt es keine Probleme. Habe die ganze Software nochmals neu aufgespielt, aber es ändert sich nicht. Kennt jemand dieses Problem und gibt es Abhilfe?

Willkommen im Forum, Störtebecker,
nicht ganz einfach zu sagen. Es gab in der 2018er Version gelegentlich Probleme, wenn die Anwendung ohne Adinistratorrechte gestartet wurde. Versuche also mal, bbw.exe zu starten mit der rechten Maustaste "Als Administrator ausführen".

... ich vermute, du hast das letzte Build 520 von Band in a Box 2018 installiert?
Unter welcher Windows-Version läuft denn BiaB bei dir (7,8,10 32/64Bit)?

Update ist installiert, Programm läuft mit Windows 10 32 Bit auf dem Laptop und auf dem PC in der 64 Bit Version. Bei beiden Installation tritt das oben beschriebene Problem auf.

Access-Violation-Meldungen sind bei Band in a Box fast immer verbunden mit nicht richtig gesetzten Zugriffsrechten, dass heißt, das Programm versucht in Ordner zu schreiben, zu denen es keine Zugriffsrechte hat.
Dass das bei dir beim Zugriff auf Coyote bzw. Forte auftritt, könnte darauf hinweisen, dass evtl. in ein System-Directory geschrieben wird, zu dem das Programm keine Admin-Rechte hat.
Evtl. liegt das an fehlerhaften Settting-Dateien, die du vor der Neuinstallation nicht gelöscht hast. Schau mal ins \bb Verzeichis und benenne die Dateien "intrface.bbw" und "mysetup.dk" zu irgendwas um wie "intrface.bbw.alt" und "mysetup.dk.alt". Dann starte Band in a Box neu, das Programm erstellt die Dateien neu. Bei 2018 lagen die noch in \bb , bei 2019 sind sie ins Unterverzeichnis \bb\preferences gewandert.

Na, so ist es auch gut. BiaB 2019 bietet an vielen Stellen auch einen echten Mehrwert. Insofern ist das Update keine schlechte Entscheidung gewesen.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first?
