What a nice tune! I really enjoyed listening to this. Good choice of instruments and very well produced! It was like listening to an early record from Larry Carlton or Lee Ritenour - very 70/80-ish. Looking forward to hear more music from you! Will

Really well done! Love the upbeat vibe to this - definitely matches the weather where we are lately. Smooth as butter, and nice and easy on the ears. Reminds me of Bob James a bit. Thanks for sharing

Lovely combo. This has a "live" in studio sound that works wonderfully. Excellent movement of the harmonies/progression and the lead is killer. Just great.

That is an amazingly cohesive sound from those RT's. Like the artists have played together for a while (maybe they have ) You have a wonderful ear for these compositions -- like Bob said "a subtle touch) and we always enjoying you sharing them with us. J&B

Looking forward to hear more music from you! Will Hi Will ... 70s Smooth Jazz was my goal. Glad it listens as such. I like Larry Carlton a lot but I'm a huge fan of Lee Ritenour. Pat Metheny, too. I have quite a few of these I've not yet posted. I'll throw one in here and there. A lesser-known jazz guitarist in more recent years, but with that nostalgic sound we're talking about, is Paul Brown. I like him as lot, too. Thank you very much for your warm and encouraging words. Best to you ... Alan

I'm a hug George Benson * Wes Montgomery fan. But I thought this one has more of a Paul Brown sound, although the George Benson influence is also prevalent - it's hard fopr me to get away from it. Again, many sincere thanks. Best you and yours. Alan

Nice one, Alan! You own the smooth jazz instrumental genre here as far as I'm concerned, just a very well thought out and produced track. Just what I needed to hear along with my first coffee of the day

Well done - cool progression. I'm not a Brent fan but his stuff on this certainly did sound as cliched as in his other styles. Nice backing.

Hi Alan,
I know I'm late for the party, but you know the reason for that.
This is another very fine piece you delivered !!!! I'm a big admirer of your compository abilities, and this one is just another evidence of your musicality. Great playing and I just have to repeat it over and over again: So tasteful !!!
Hope you and Di are good; take care
Stefan
PS: Just to make sure we didn't miss each other: In your last reply you announced a PM. I do hope that it didn't get lsot between our PCs, because I never got one. Of course, this doesn't mean that I expect you to send one, but sometimes they do get lost and I don't want you to think I was impolite and forgot to reply...

Hi Alan and Di,
I hope that all is travelling as well as possible for you both.
Just this morning, I discovered that there are couple of your songs that have completely bypassed me. I'm now in the process of listening to them.
I absolutely love this instrumental. It is a delight to listen to. You always manage to discover chord progressions that soothe the soul and satisfy the ear. Everything about this sits wonderfully well together and creates a fine musical journey.
Sending my best thoughts your way, Noel
