You have very unusual lyric twists. If I have to name your genre, I would say "Outsider Pop". Good work on this! I did not feel that backing track is missing any instruments, does not sound thin. Also, it was not "too" loud to my ears. Thank you for sharing! Misha. Thanks Misha for your always positive feedback "Outsider Pop" - I don't know what it exactly means but I love that, I feel like an outsider when it comes to listening and making music Thanks for that invention, I'll use it in the future with "loud" I meant that when I had my songs in a playlist, this song started loudest and I had to lower the volume. Janne

Janne, You already have many comments on the happy danceable sound you`ve made- I like that bouncy chorus too. Nice mix of EDM & Rt`s. I found the lyrics a fun take on what desperate measures the love crush can lead to: " crochet curtains for your bedroom" that`s one that brought a chuckle... nearly been there! Good to hear you once again trying a new style.
Robert

Nicely done! Gives me a sense of abstraction, almost. Flows beautifully well, and the lyrics are inventive and clever. I thought the tune had a nice pulse as well. An interesting choice for the percussion. Thanks for sharing Thanks Deryk for your positive review I'm really glad you find my lyrics clever Janne

For the genre it does not sound too loud or thin. It's just right for what floyd called "danceable!" The very strong melody really carries the song well and is memorable. Well done! J&B Thanks Janice and Bud for your kind comment Nice to hear that you find the melody strong and memorable - usually I don't remember lyrics of my songs, but in this case I do quite easily, maybe it is because the melody itself is so memorable Janne

Love the title on this one, catchy chorus and the overall beat keeps the listener engaged from start to finish. Nicely put together! Like dcuny, I’m not quite sure I’m following the lyrics entirely, but it still worked for me. Good stuff! Regards, Deej Thanks Deej for your kind words Nice to get feedback also for the song title, it is important part of the song, for getting attention. Dreams are usually difficult to describe in words, so this dreamy song cannot be fully explained, but I'm glad it worked for you Janne

Very enjoyable. The feel of 'energy' that you've created is excellent. As floyd says... it's very 'danceable'... and I totally agree. My feet were tapping somewhere around bar 2 and didn't stop until the end That bar of excellence that you keep on setting for yourself just gets higher and higher with each production! All the best, Noel Thanks Noel, you are just too kind with your words I'm really glad you enjoyed the song from start to end Janne

The backing sounds brilliant. Well balanced and clear and giving that "airy" feeling expressed in the lyric. Some extra fine lines in the song. Makes me smile. Much enjoyed. Thanks Tangmo for your positive feedback and smile "Airy" is an excellent description, I was aiming for that. Glad you enjoyed! Janne

Greg Thanks Greg for your kind feedback I read my notes that I actually made this song as a counterpart for a previous song which had only minor chords - this one has only major chords (of course some inversions may sound bit minor), so that's why it's so upbeat. Janne

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
