Vielleicht besteht ja hier auch Interesse an diesen kleinen Videos. Ich habe angefangen sie für saxwelt zu machen, wo ich Moderator bin. Es kamen immer wieder sehr viele Fragen auf und die Leute haben sich nicht ans Programm getraut. Viele hatten es, wussten aber nicht, wie sie anfangen sollten. So ist die Idee mit deutschen Tutorial Videos entstanden. Ich habe dann angefangen ganz einfache Tutorial Videos zu mache, wo wirklich nur die Basics erklärt sind. Einfach nur, um sich mal ein bisschen mit dem Programm vertraut zu machen. Ich bin bestimmt kein super Experte auf dem Gebiet und es gibt viele Möglichkeiten, wie man an Sachen ran gehen kann, dies sind meine Wege, wie ich mit Biab arbeite. Hallo Anke, das oben verlinkte Wiki wird von einem sehr engagierten Kölner Musikpädagogen betreut und gestaltet. Ich habe keinerlei Verbindung zu Dirk Bechtel; du könntest ihm aber vielleicht eine E-Mail schreiben - er könnte daran interessiert sein, sein BB Wiki etwas aufzuwerten. Möglicherweise wohnt ihr ja lediglich einen Steinwurf über den Rhein entfernt und könnt euch einmal in einer der wunderbaren Jazzkneipen der Altstadt austauschen ... Im Hauptforum hat gerade jemand ein englischsprachiges BB Wiki initiiert. Dort gibt es möglicherweise auch eine Gelegenheit eine deutschsprachige Rubrik zu eröffnen (?). Ich habe mir erlaubt, auf deiner Soundklick Seite etwas herumzustöbern -> klasse Musik, Anke! Viele Grüße aus München

Hi Martin, danke für die Info, werde Dirk mal den Link schicken, vielleicht kann er ihn ja gebrauchen  . Hoffe mit den Videos wenigstens ein paar Leuten helfen zu können. Ich nutze Biab ja eigentlich auch nur an der "Oberfläche". Das ganze Programm ist so mächtig, das ist schon wahnsinn, was es einem bietet. Schön, dass dir meine Stücke auf der Soundklickseite gefallen. Da ist glaube ich auch das ein oder andere Biab Playalong mit verbraten.

Hm ... ich könnte mir vorstellen, dass deine Tutorials auch die deutschsprachigen PG Music Webseiten durchaus aufwerten. Der Moderator des Forums könnte einmal bei PG Music nachfragen, ob Interesse besteht. Peter Gannon fänd's bestimmt prima.

Von mir aus gerne. Ich finde es nämlich schade, dass bis jetzt keine deutschen Tutorial da waren. Glaube auch, dass das viele ein bisschen davon abhält das Programm zu kaufen. Es gibt ja hier auch kaum Kurse, wo man lernt mit den Grundlagen des Programms umzugehen. Die Jazz Haus Schule in Köln bietet von Zeit zu Zeit Biab Kurse an, das ist gut.

Also eins ist sicher. Ich habe viele Feedbacks zu den Videos bekommen und die Leute sind froh drüber. Teilweise war es auch dann eine Entscheidung, dass Programm zu kaufen. Da habe ich auch einige Mails zu bekommen.
Die Leute brauchen Tutorials auf deutsch. Klar, meine sind nicht grerade sehr professionell, aber sie erklären halbwegs, wie man von A nach B kommt.

Gerade Anfänger und Einsteiger werden hervorragend an die Hand genommen und diese Tutorials kommen sehr authentisch rüber. Sie sind von einem User erstellt und kommen aus der Praxis - eine bessere Kundenbetreuung (und eine bessere Publicity) kann sich keine Firma wünschen.

Womit hast du die eigentlich gemacht. Mit welcher Software. Der gelbe Kreis um den Mauszeiger, das sieht ja eh aus wie die Originalevideos von PG Music.

Hey, danke Sandra! Das freut mich sehr. Na ja, meinen reihnischen Dialekt bekomme ich leider nicht ganz raus So sind die Rheinländer eben. Die Software mit der ich die Videos erstelle heißt Camtasia. Du hättest mal meinen ersten Versuch sehen solle, da habe ich den Bildschirm noch mit einer Webcam abgefilmt. War eine ganz schön wackelige Angelegenheit. Mit Camtasia klappt das sehr gut und die Software ist realtiv einfach zu bedienen. Ich finde super, wie du Jazzgitarre spielst. Das hätte ich als Kind gerne gelernt, aber ich musste zig Jahre klassische Konzertgeitarre lernen. Habe es gehasst und fasse die Gitarre heute nicht mehr an. Jazzgitarre höre ich denoch total gerne. Gratulation, bin total begeistert. Super gemacht, verständlich und übersichtlich. Bitte erkläre auch mal was über Realtracks und Drums. Hätte da noch einen Spezialfall, Du hast zwar schon was über die Noteneingabe geschrieben, was mich noch interessieren würde wäre Eingabe von Triolen, dann wieder Achtel. Vielen Dank!

@culryguit, ich mach ein Video zur Triolen Eingabe, das ist ein bisschen zu kompliziert zu erklären , weil du verschiedene Möglichkeiten hast. Edit: Habe gerade das Video zu Triolen etc. hochgeladen. Hoffe es beantwortet deine Fragen. Wenn nicht, bitte bescheid sagen. Allerdings habe ich einen wichtigen Hinweis im Video vergessen. Viertel Triolen kann man nur in einem geswingen Style eingeben! In einem Geraden ist das darstellungsmässig nicht möglich. Hier ist der Link zum Video. Hoffe es ist schon in HD Qualität verfügbar,wenn nicht, ein paar Minuten warten: Biab Tutorial: Erfassen von Triolen etc.

das ist wieder mal ein sehr schönes Tutorial geworden. Eine zusätzliche Ergänzung -> Die Einstellung "Tick Offset" in den Notations Optionen kann einen starken Einfluss auf die Darstellung von Noten haben. Öffne beispielsweise den Demo Song zu ZZJAZZ.STY. In Takt 14 und 15 befinden sich zwei viertel Triolen. "Tick Offset" steht bei diesem Song auf -9. Wenn man diesen Wert z.B. auf Null setzt, wird die viertel Triole in Takt 15 zerstört.

Ich weiß, aber ich wollte jetzt nicht unbedingt die Leute noch verwirren. Bei mir stand Tick Offset auf -7. Ich denke so häufig kommen 4tel Triolen nun auch nicht vor und dann könnte man immer noch sagen, experimentier ein bisschen mit Tick Offset rum.

du hast Biab ja richtig im Griff! Ich leider noch nicht.
Ich möchte Biab benutzen, um mir Playbacks herzustellen. Da fehlt aber noch ´ne Menge an Wissen. Meine Frage: Kann man bei dir Unterricht in Biab nehmen? Gegen Vergütung natürlich! Ich wohne in Düsseldorf, bin aber oft in Köln, da meine Kinder dort leben.
Deine Totorials sind super ! ! !, können aber naturgemäß keine Fragen beantworten.
Heute gehe ich zur Jazzrally, schaue aber immer mal ins Forum.

Hallo,
auf der Suche nach einem passenden Musikprogramm für meine Bedürfnisse, bin ich über Band in a Box gestolpert und natürlich auch über deine Tutorials. Habe sie mir alle angschaut und Lust bekommen dieses Programm zu kaufen. Natürlich würde ich es gerne erst einmal testen, doch entweder habe ich noch nicht den richtigen Link gefunden oder es gibt keine Demoversion.
Hier meine Frage an dich:
Ich schreibe eifrig Songtexte und weiß auch, wie sie später mal klingen sollten. Generell eigentlich ideal für Biab. Doch dummerweise, habe ich zwar grundsätzlich Ahnung von Noten aber keine Ahnung, wie man die Melodie in meinem im Kopf auf ein Notenblatt zaubert. Kann zwar einigermaßen Gitarre spielen und mir Akkorde zusammen basteln, aber wie bekomme ich die Melodie in Biab. Ich spiele kein Klavier oder sonst ein Instrument mit dem ich saubere Töne einspielen kann. Gibt es die Möglichkeit, diese vom Programm aus einer gesummten oder gesungenen Aufnahme auslesen zu lassen? Wenn ja, dann würde ich mich über ein kleines Tutorial von dir riesig freuen. Wenn nicht, kennst du ein anderes Programm, was dies kann?
Noch eine kleine Bonusfrage:
Mal angenommen ich habe es geschafft die Melodie in Biab rein zu zaubern und habe mir einen Style gesucht, den mein Song haben soll, kann das Programm dann per Knopfdruck selbstständig Vorschläge machen, was da z.B. für eine Schlagzeugbegleitung dazu passen würde oder muß ich die unendlichen weiten des Sondpools durchstöbern und hinterher überhaupt nicht mehr wissen was ich nehmen soll. Wenn ja, dann würde ich mich auch hier über ein kleines Tutorial von dir riesig freuen. Wenn nicht, kennst du ein anderes Programm, was dies kann?

I'm moderator on the Danish BIAB forum. I liked your videos very much and have made something similar on my website (nodeskrivning.dk). I would like to know which program you have used. I use Snagit 11, but I really like the zooms and the yellow pointer.

Hallo, Vielleicht kann mir jemand hier helfen. Ich habe keine Möglichkeit im Songpicker ordner neu zu bestimmen oder Unterordner zu bestimmen oder Alphabetisch die Titel zu sortieren. Der Songpicker ist quasi nicht zu gebrauchen. Hat da jemand ähnliche Probleme ?? Meine Version ist die auf dem Mac. Vielen Dank

Hallo robertoroberto.
Ich habe hier zwar nur die Windows-Version von 2019, aber das ist dort identisch. Leider lassen sich im Songpicker weder eine andere Sortierung als die standardmäßig alphabetische anwählen, noch kannst du dort Ordner neu anlegen oder löschen. Wenn du deine Songs in Unterordner sortieren möchtest, geht das nur über den Datei-Explorer bzw. den Finder. Den Songpicker an der Stelle flexibler zu machen ist schon mehrfach als Wunsch an die Entwickler weitergegeben. Das wird wohl mit einem Update kommen.
Ich kann aber dennoch gut mit dem Songpicker arbeiten, denn über die verschiedenen Filterfunktionen komme ich eigentlich recht gut klar - auch wenn es noch einige kleine Programmfehler dort gibt.
