London Town Wrote this for a different lyric - the lyricist/vocalist not too impressed so he wrote another lyric to fit. Leon - Vocal & Lyric I played guitars and sang a bit. Cool song. The 1st phrase of the vocal is buried by the intro leads. Regarding the leads - they way I hear them in headphones is line left is above my left ear a bit towards my eyebrow and the right is below my right ear. I reckon the idea is great but I also think they ought to be tighter to be juxtaposed as they are. The lead licks on the left throughout are really tasty and sit well. It's a terrific song - really enjoyable and a good groove too. Ace.

I agree with Ray - the vocal seems buried, especially at the beginning. I'm listening to speakers, not headphones. Bouncy and fun. I love the way the chorus builds at the end. I expected a fade at 2:50, but why cover up a perfectly good solo?

Nice work on this one - flows really well, and though the volumes could be turned up a smidge I still think it's really solid write. Nicely catchy, especially on the hook. If the mix was a bit more concise I could see this being on the radio, no doubt. Thanks so much for sharing
Cheers, Deryk

Peter & Leon,
A catchy tune...especially the refrain.
Good guitar stuff throughout - the outro is especially nice.
I agree that the vocal needs a bit more clarity. The vocal frequency and guitar frequencies seem to be about the same place, causing a conflict...
An enjoyable tune. Glad to see y'all back in the swing of things.

Fun song!! A bit of the lighter side of heartache. Catchy melody and nice guitar! Also feel the vocal could come up a bit, particularly in parts. Great guitar outro!! Enjoyed!! Take care. Greg

What were the previous lyrics for it? I'm super curious! But really great job with this.

I expected a fade at 2:50, but why cover up a perfectly good solo? Listening on near field monitors and I agree. The guitar parts are very good, nice playing! I also like the backing tracks. Just bring up the vocals.
Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up. Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.

I THINK frequencies may give the up & down impression but don't really know. I'll have a listen on near & far fields sometime today.

Sounds good. I wasn't really smitten with the lyric at first, but the overall "feel" of the song tilted me toward hearing it as an old tale of holiday love lost with enough time passed to reminisce a bit more light-heartedly. Really liked the solo on the way out.

Cools song ... lyric has a catchy lilt. I agree with comments on vocal being a little too soft in the mix. Nicew work by both of you! Best to you ...

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.
Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!
Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
