Here is a musical reaction to all the dirty little secrets oozing out of the crevices in recent years...
If you are not guilty...
I hope you enjoy this throwaway song from 2018 FAWM.

Technical Info:
Song: MeToo.Mgu
Style: NG004x.Sty (Changed to Real Tracks but that information has been lost blush )

Jim you are very good at using simple little musical phrases and singing on top of them with a memorable lyric! You have once again produced something that really works! Thanks, Torrey

Yep, the video is fun but the sentiment is powerful and the movement is long overdue.

Torrey pretty much nailed our thoughts about the write and production.

Throwaway? We are glad you didn't and shared it with us!

Jim,
Fun and to the point.
The FAWM deadline seems to work well to get the ideas flowing.

love it Jim

well done, video is excellent

catchy, timely, to the point

we've become a super paranoid and butt-hurt society

there's legitimate problems and then there's college students

needing a time out because words and reality offends.

good vocals, love it

Jim,
Ha ha! funny! I agree 100% with Kenny's comments above.
I guess it is one of the most effective and smart ways to show flaws in society - through satire.
Nicely put together and performed! I wish you well & not to be eaten by hypocrites.

Thank you for sharing!

Misha.

Cute song and video Jim!! Yes, the me too movement has taken out a lot of people....and the vast majority (at least) seem to be deserving of that. Fun stuff!! Take care. Greg

Nicely done. Quite a hypnotic chorus, and overall vibe.

Jim,

Love the sound of this one—very catchy, some really great instrumentation. And married with that “me too” refrain, it borders on ear worm territory. Well done!

All the best,

Deej

Nice!

I find it interesting that people are giving it diametrically opposed interpretations.

It reminds me that sometimes, saying less is actually saying more, because it allows people to read their own ideas into lyrics.

In any event, I enjoyed the listen. laugh

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Jim,

A clever write.

A good production. Fits the song perfectly.

A good mix.

Well done (again!)

Thanks Robert...
Your support & comments are always appreciated...
I agree with you about the value of FAWM deadline...
However with Biab 14 songs ideas in 28 days is pretty easy to reach...
If the participant doesn't mind giving up some sleep.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
