"It's The Simple Things" (2009). https://soundcloud.com/lawrence-olivier/its-the-simple-thingsI did this song with BIAB years ago and was never quite satisfied. Thanks to BIAB and their commitment to an ever expanding catalogue of recording styles, I was able to use all new instruments and I am much happier with the results. I love the nylon guitars! Sounds good to me, Lawrence!
The "band" works well for the piece, and your vocal is perfect.
Enjoyed!

Wonderful remake!
Your choice of RT's is interesting and, man, do they ever carry the song well.
The lyric is well worth reflecting upon and is delivered with a classy, passionate vocal.
It's ALWAYS nice to log on and see a gruve tune posted and this certainly did not disappoint.
Excellent work! Come back more often.

BIAB went the whole hog in REAL - the clicks and taps i the classical guitar track &/or bass track really place one in the room. The arrangement, lyric and vocal performance make this an excellent result. Personally I'd reduce, rather than eliminate, the "noises" as they distract me when wearing headphones. A personal nit -. Loved it.

Lawrence,
So great to hear you again... Love this song and the vocal is outstanding.
The mix is excellent and bass is a real standout - just beautiful.
Bob Bob, thank you. I've recently watched a video about how high passing the low end effects harmonics across the rest of the spectrum. It was very eye opening. And as a result lately I stopped using high pass filter. Nice! The nylon strings sure sound sweet.
Excellent singing as well. Glad you're happy with the new version - I certainly enjoyed it. David, thank you. It's always nice to hear how new RealTracks that are getting released can help finish a piece! Thanks for sharing with us and great song. Ember, thank you. It's always a pleasure to discover the new recordings each year. Really love what you have done here. I particularly enjoyed the lyrics. Very pretty sounding. Rob

Stunning. What a band! Powerful lyric and sweet emotional delivery. Wonderful from first bar to last, but that ending is especially powerful.
