Attempting a remedy for a kid`s warty toe I had a musical idea for this patented cure-all.
Scott got out his very George guitars.
We hope you get healed!

This was another fun project with Robert.

For this I used my Gretch Duojet and my Vox Amp.
For the effects I used a Empress Nebulus pedal and a touch of reverb.

I like it - snake oil with a bit of King of the World (Steely Dan) vibe.

Great label graphic!

But will it make me play better guitar? wink

Fun listen, thanks for posting!

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Robert / Scott

Where can I get some?

Amusing clever song - nice atmosphere you created, enjoyed the lyrics and Scott's complimentary playing.
A very enjoyable collaboration.

Wow - what an interesting and engaging tune smile Nicely catchy, and I love the progressions here. Very unique lyrics, which added another dimension to it for me.

Thanks for sharing!

Was thinking more Sgt Peppers that Steely Dan, but glad you were entertained.
Won`t help your playing, but might make the guitar shine applied as wax!

Hi Robert,

What a creative idea usig a recipe (a set of instructions for preparing a particular dish, including a list of the ingredients required, acording to Google translator) for the lyrics!
Peter already wants a bottle!

Liked the song. Very funny. Immediately recognized the Gretch Duojet and Vox Amp of Scott (joke).
But nice your cooperation. worked out well!

I've been looking for a blunderbuss for my vitals. I don't need it globally...just there. Fun project.

Right from the get go I said "Beatles" (gotta love the Dr. Roberts reference) and Janice chimed in with "Dire Straits!" Yeah, that'll work for us anytime.

Warty toe = cool production. Warty toe...hmmm Frank Zappa?

We always enjoy y'alls collabs and this doesn't disappoint -- perhaps our fav.

As always the imagery is rich and cinematic in nature...begs for a video.

Good band, good collab, nice harmony, arrangement...all that stuff.

Enjoyed it!

Thanks Deryk. Thinking the subject sounded Beatlish the chords began with a "Come Together" progression if I remember correctly.

Hans,
I`m glad you mention Scott`s guitar/rig... he really has an ear for what tone/effects to use to make the accompaniment/solo guitar gel with a song... to my ears he nails the George Harrison thing on this.
Of course, its also good you found the song fun!

Surely that Naam Pik available at your place works to prepare those vitals for our mixture.
Thanks for the thumbs up.

Thanks everyone for the awesome comments. This song was so much fun from the start. I read the lyrics first and was just amazed how Robert interlaced visuals in the lyrics in the backtrack. Was fun trying get the effects to sound a little like Georges sitar. This was one of my favorite times of Beatles music. I still listen to the Sgt Peppers album in my playlist. So glad Robert invited me along on this Magical Mystery tour :-)

There's some imaginative, creative writing!! Reminds me of The Who Sell Out (you've probably never heard that record). Wonderful sounds/guitar here to match the unique lyric. One question: Where can I buy some?? Nice job guys!!! Take care. Greg

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
