A snappy little jazz ditty...
I was a bit surprised how long your waited before your solo...
I guess you were just being nice to the other musicians sitting in smile...
Anyway another good one...
Of course I always enjoy your work!

Playful and dancing in the stereo field. Quality mix, arrangement and play. Much enjoyed the listen.

Nicely done! Love the groove, and the playful nature of this tune. The fiddle in this is outstanding, and the backing tracks remind of Bob James a bit. Very easy to move with, and that groove is infectious.

Wouldn't change a thing on this one - thanks for sharing smile

Cheers,
Deryk

If we were walking down the street by a jazz club and heard this we'd pay to go in.

Very cool and fun vibe!

And, of course, wonderful soloing.

It's been a long time since I used the melodist to write some stuff..... it was a common thing when I first got BB though.... it will give you some cool stuff that can be edited into something nice....and that's exactly what you did.

Nice tune.

Wow! Strong start with the fiddle - sounds great. So did the keys. There are some amazing performances in the box!

They even made the guitar - as rocking is the tone is - feel a bit understated. laugh

I don't really listen for chord progressions, but that augmented chord got my attention.

Nice work, sounds good in my headphones.

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Is it a real Rhodes piano or an emulation? Sounds pretty accurate. I had one for quite a while - weighed a TON. I loaned it to someone and haven't seen it for 25 years. It was borrowed by a jazz player.
This is very tidy and well thought out - your solo was cool but was also a little lost as one of a few.

Cheers

Another excellent jazzy tune with smooth chord progression, that fiddle fits the context surprisingly well.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
